| abstract | - The Kyoukan clan(きょうかん, Kyoukan Ichizoku, AKA Blast Ninja) Is a recently founded clan after Ziruimaru Kyoukan canged his name from an unknown clan to distance himself from the sound ninjas and Orochimaru. The clan was founded when Ziruimaru Kyoukan traveled with his family to a small valley between two mountains in the far reaches of the Land of Sound. He, his wife and his three children settled there and organized support facilities such as small resaurants and houses. The clan now primarily uses attacks similar to those of the sound ninja but have silenced all their jutsu as a final rebellion against the sound ninja. They named their village Shougekigakure, the Village hidden in the Blast, because the mountains siphon the thunder from the perpetual storm above Shougekigakure into a powerful blast that can only be avoided by silencing the immeadiate thunder around you, thus only a Sound or Blast ninja can enter the valley.
