| abstract | - Isaac Matthew O'Bannon is currently the chief editor and digital content manager for CPA Practice Advisor, a print and digital publication focused on technology used by professional accountants. O'Bannon has also authored three books of prose, and is known regionally as an open mike poetry speaker. O'Bannon joined his current employer in 2002, following experience in technology public relations while at agencies in San Francisco, Denver and Tulsa, serving clients that included Logitech, Polycom, Hilti, Microsoft, the Stanford Research Institute, the University of Oklahoma's College of Engineering and other technology organizations. He served in the U.S. Navy as a a Construction Equipment Operator with U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five. He attained the NCO rank of Petty Officer Third Class, held expert ratings in rifle (M-16) and pistol (9 mm) qualifications, and deployed with his battalion to Puerto Rico, Cuba and Okinawa. O'Bannon currently lives in Norman, Oklahoma, is on the Oklahoma Democratic Party's Central Committee, and is President of the State Democratic Party's Veterans Committee [1]
