| abstract | - James T. Kirk and Montgomery Scott beamed aboard the USS Enterprise while she was at warp speed. Kirk and Scotty beamed aboard the Enterprise by transwarp beaming. Kirk and Scotty were captured by security personnel and brought to the bridge, where Spock tried to find out how they were able to beam aboard the Enterprise while she was at warp. Kirk refused to answer and recommended that Scotty do the same. Kirk then provoked Spock into attacking him by telling him that he never felt anything for the destruction of his home planet and the death of his mother and that he never loved her. Spock became very angry. He beat Kirk up and then strangled him. Sarek tried to stop Spock from killing Kirk, but Darth Vader held him back. Spock choked Kirk to death and everyone was shocked.
