  • It's very, very rare you get a compilation CD that's so solid—particularly under the guise of a "Soundtrack". Seriously—most soundtracks are the reason why P2P was invented—it allows you to get around getting what's essentially a 15 dollar single with one decent track and a bunch of awful, awful b-sides. This one, however, is excellent. Of the Powerpuff Girls CDs, this is the most essential. The City Of Soundsville featuring expanded cues by Jim Venable is excellent too, but give a pass to Power Pop! -- it's what happens when the label sees a hot property and tries to make money by cutting out anyone involved with making said property hot. A couple good songs (including the Shonen Knife one from here, and a Ramones-tinged version of bis' ending theme), but for the most part, pretty much awful. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
