A pregnant Molly was cut free by the emergency services and taken to Weatherfield General where Doctor Chidgley was the casualty duty doctor who received the case and examined Molly upon arrival. She also interrupted an altercation in the waiting room when Tyrone angrily blamed Kevin for the accident, telling him that he could see his wife, even though she was asleep. She also advised him that they would be confident as to her condition the next day.
