  • Beatrice is the owner of a Croissant shop in downtown Miami. She is frustrated with the numbers of prostitutes hanging around her business, causing paying customers not to want to visit. She chased off Abigail "Florence Italy" Cook and Blondie from her place, and Florence was picked up by a white racing car shortly thereafter. Beatrice then is upset that the Vice team continually visits asking if anyone has seen Florence or the car (due to Florence's murder), finally when Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs stops by and sees her security system, he asks to see the tapes from the night of the murder and from the tapes determined Frank Tepper was the one who killed Florence.
  • Beatrice is one of Violet Roberts' friends, often partaking in the mocking of Red Riding Hood, such as when the whole class pelted her with snowballs after tricking her into coming to a picnic. She participates in the destruction of Red's cake at Peter's seventeenth birthday bonfire, and is generally just seen backing up Violet and her other lackey Florence. She, along with the other teens, is sad to see the cancellation of the Forget-Me-Not ball. ("Red's Untold Tale")
  • Beatrice was a young woman in servitude to malicious, greedy clergyman Canon of Birkley. She was forced to serve him as "property of the church" because her father died without paying off the huge debt he owed Birkley. Ultimately, she was rescued by Robin and her love, John of York, whom she married at the end of the episode.
  • Beatrice is a Dream Demon, a creature that has been effectively "stored in Filgaia's memory" and can only interact with others through their dreams and imaginations. • Beatrice is a Ghost haunting the ruins of the city Anodunos, held there by the Guardian's magic and her own guilt. When they had resisted, the Guardian had frozen over the entire continent, killing everyone in the process. Beatrice had died when caring for the last survivors.
  • The Beatrice was an ONI Chiroptera-class stealth vessel prowler. In 2512 it was decommissioned with the remainder of that class and refitted for increased habitability, including cushioned seats and cupholders. Later she was modified with brand-new plasma coils from a Behemoth-class tug. In 2552, Governor Jacob Jiles of the Eridanus Rebels came into possession of this ship and used it as his personal ship, as well as "flagship" for his improvised fleet. Dr. Catherine Halsey, along with the sedated Kelly-087, stole the ship and left via Slipspace, having bypassed the ONI locks.
  • Beatrice Yvonne von Guldenhorf made her first appearance in the fourth episode (however she is first seen in episode 2) of Princess no Rondo. She is a daughter of the Grand Duke de Guldenhorf, thus a princess of the Grand Duchy of Guldenhorf. She bullied Tiffania for wearing a hat in her presence, being more popular than her, and having ample, buxom breasts. Upon learning Tiffania was half-elf, she tried to have her boiled in water, under the guise of punishing a heretic, since elves have a different religion than humans. It was later revealed she had no such authority to do this and was stopped by Louise before Tiffania was put in the boiling water. Tiffania then asked if they could be friends, and ever since, Beatrice and her followers have worshiped the ground Tiffania walks on.

Despite her physical limitations, she is actually a being of immense power and represents the ultimate threat to Filgaia at the end of Wild Arms 3. To this end, Beatrice manipulated the Yggdrasil project years ago. Here she manipulated the scientist Duran, causing the terraforming project to run amuck. She has also been feeding on the dreams and memories of those of the entire planet, both hiding her activities and helping reduce the citizen's awareness of what is happening to the world around them. Beatrice has also manipulated the Ark of Destiny by guiding their leader, Lamium into hunting for ancient artifacts and power sources, ones that Beatrice needs in order to make her dream a reality. She also manipulates the Prophets as well as Zeikfried, and sets them up for their defeat by the players' party when she no longer has need of them. She even restores the clone of Malik Bendict's mother, primarily to set Malik on edge for his upcoming defeat. Lastly, she manipulates Shane Carradine as "The Dream Child" to set her final plan into motion. At this point, she reveals her true nature, her true form, and ultimately her intentions to Virginia Maxwell and her group. Eventually Virginia and her group must confront Beatrice and defeat her plans for good, as she begins to give birth to Nega Filgaia, the ultimate threat to Filgaia.

The collection ends with a promise to immortalise Beatrice in a greater work, which is usually seen as referring to the Divine Comedy. Beatrice died quite young, and it was after her death that Dante wrote his Divine Comedy, giving her a major role. In the work, it is through Beatrice's intercession that Dante is taken on his supernatural journey, and she acts as the poet's guide through Heaven in the Paradiso. Many commentators see the character of Beatrice as symbolising divinely-inspired wisdom, as a counterpart to Virgil, who symbolises earthly reason. However, Beatrice's role is not purely symbolic: at times, she interacts with Dante simply as herself. The most notable of these is the episode in the Earthly Paradise where Dante is first reunited with her (Purgatorio, canto XXX). Beatrice arrives amid a highly symbolic pageant, but speaks to Dante plainly, as one person to another, rebuking him for not being faithful to her memory.
The clergyman worked for the sheriff and refused to let her go even when Robin Hood paid off the fee. Ultimately, she was rescued by Robin and her love, John of York, whom she married at the end of the episode.
