The film will star Shaan, Tooba Siddiqui, Ali Zafar, Veena Malik, Samina Peerzada, Nadeem, Ali Saleem and Durdana Butt. The music will be composed by Ali Azmat and Rohail Hyatt. The film production began in 2005, however, the film has been in pre-production since then. Malik has stated that the reason the film has been in pre-production is that the original producers, composers and screenwriters backed out of the project that left Malik in search for new film crew. In 2008, he stated that he is amending the film script, music and actors. The film shooting began in early 2010. The shooting is taking place in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Nigeria.
