  • Constance Goodheart was Captain Proton's secretary in the holoprogram The Adventures of Captain Proton, created by Tom Paris on the USS Voyager. Her primary function seemed to be high-pitched screaming in the event of a hostile encounter. Seven of Nine once played the role of Constance Goodheart, but instead of sticking to the parameters of her character, she casually deactivated Satan's Robot as it attempted to attack her. (VOY: "Night")
  • In the 1938 radio adaptation, she was played by Evelyn Ankers. (DS9 short story: "Captain Proton and the Orb of Bajor") Constance was also a character in the Captain Proton holonovels devised by Tom Paris aboard the USS Voyager. (VOY episode: "Night")

Her primary function seemed to be high-pitched screaming in the event of a hostile encounter. Seven of Nine once played the role of Constance Goodheart, but instead of sticking to the parameters of her character, she casually deactivated Satan's Robot as it attempted to attack her. (VOY: "Night") The Goodheart character was "killed" when photonic lifeforms arrived on Voyager in 2375 and mistook the Captain Proton program as an actual representation of Humanity, allowing Paris to recognize that something was wrong as the program was written to prevent the heroes from dying. (VOY: "Bride of Chaotica!") The costume worn by featured actress Kirsten Turner as Goodheart was sold off in the It's A Wrap! sale and auction, where it is also revealed that the costume is actually colored orange with gold accents. The costume tags notes her role as "heroine". [1]

  • In the 1938 radio adaptation, she was played by Evelyn Ankers. (DS9 short story: "Captain Proton and the Orb of Bajor") Constance was also a character in the Captain Proton holonovels devised by Tom Paris aboard the USS Voyager. (VOY episode: "Night") Shortly after Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant in 2378, Lieutenant Candace Roske - assigned to guard Voyager while it lay in drydock - altered the Captain Proton holoprogram and took the role of Constance Goodheart for herself, adapting the character into a heroine every bit the equal of Proton. During Admiral Janeway's infiltration of Voyager, Tom Paris (as Proton) incapacitated Roske (as Goodheart) in order to disable the ship's security force. (VOY novel: The Farther Shore)
