  • Merchants are Villagers who sell items and abilities for Minigames. They use Credits as their currency. Merchants can be found in front of the Minigame warps. Merchants used to be situated on the left and right sides of the Minigame warps and were blocked with invisible blocks that prevented them from escaping and players getting in. In 16th August 2015 the placement and the GUI of the Merchants changed to the current one, and many new cosmetic perks were added, including the Kit Woodcutter into Skywars and Team Skywars. The Cosmetic perks were removed and integrated into the new Cosmetic system on the 1st April 2016. Merchants also sell Minigame Abilities as of 9th June 2016.
  • Merchants, sometimes known as Carters or Traders, were Non-Player Characters featured in Blood Omen 2. They were travelling merchants featured in Chapter 7:The Canyons, they presumably couriered supplies between Meridian and the rest of Nosgoth. Along their route, they were frequently attacked by Smugglers and Lesser demons[BO2]. Merchants also worked in the Wharves[BO2] and were presumably involved in sea trade as well.
  • Merchants Sell equipment and weaponary. There are 3 in Townston, and 1 that sells knick-knacs and mainly junk to newbies in Dew valley.

  • Without the merchants of the land, there would be no trade! Normally respectable individuals providing a wide array of goods and services, some are involved in shady dealings. If they spot a thief, they can quickly bring the wrath of the town guards upon the perpetrator. Normally docile, some will readily fight if necessary to protect their goods.
  • Normally when you are buying or selling from a merchant in Neverwinter nights, there is usually only one store associated with him with several tabs across the top. Each tab is a different category of items that the store has such as "Armor and Clothing", "Weapons", "Potions and Scrolls". Any item you buy from a normal merchants is under the same static buy and sell rate for all his items. This is normally about 65 percent of the value when he buys from you and 100 percent when he sells to you.
  • Merchants are NPC that can be found all throughout Sacred Grove and Sunstone Valley. Previously, Merchants were the only way to access certain Station Cash Marketplace and the Coin Shop items. Currently most of those Merchants bring players to the default Coin Shop or to the coin shop in the category of their appropriate items. As of August 6 of 2013, Merchants that sell Job specific Coin Shop items have been introduced to the game.
  • Ezio Auditore da Firenze was also able to sell various items that he collected to the merchants of Rome. Virtually any item that could be stolen or looted could be sold for a portion of its value. Shops on Tiber Island also offered a selection of special items, which could be claimed in exchange for a number of rare items. Among these were: * Vatican treasure map - Art merchant * Seusenhofer armor pieces - Blacksmith * Captain's Sword - Blacksmith * Fast-acting poison - Doctor * Large pouch for crossbow bolts - Tailor

  • Unarmed and mild, the grassroots of Ultima II, merchants rarely fight.
  • The mainstay of Sosaria's prosperity. They operate the shops in town to the benefit of all. Some are not very clever, and if a sharp Thief is in thy Party, then a chest or two might be stolen from under the Merchant's nose. If thy Thief is caught stealing, the entire town guard will assault thee.

Each tab is a different category of items that the store has such as "Armor and Clothing", "Weapons", "Potions and Scrolls". Any item you buy from a normal merchants is under the same static buy and sell rate for all his items. This is normally about 65 percent of the value when he buys from you and 100 percent when he sells to you. The Merchants in the World of Torr are setup differently than the standard ones that are found in Neverwinter Nights however. Different types of items are bought and sold under different buy and sell rates depending on that kingdoms economy (See Economy and Trade). This means that , for example, a merchant might be buying armor at 50 percent of its value and selling them to you at 100 percent of its value but is buying and selling his potions at 80 and 120 percent. Since having different buy/sell rates for different items in one "store" on a merchant wasn't possible via the code the merchants in The World of Torr have a different "store" for every type of item them sell. When speaking with a merchant, they will have a small list of the different types of items they sell (i.e. "Armor", "Weapons", "Potions"). Choosing a category will open the appropriate store for that category which will have its own buy/sell rates and inventory. You will not be able to sell inappropriate item to the store you have open on a merchant even if the merchant normally buys that kind of item. For example, if you opened up a merchants Armor store and tried to sell it a potion, you will be denied, you would have to click on the merchant again and choose his Potions store (if he has one) to sell him potions. Please note that stores always open up to the appropriate "tab" which they have items in so you should never have to click around the tabs. If a store is dead empty the tab will default to "Armor and Clothing" however, even if you opened up a store for something else like Potions. Try not to let that confuse you.
