(VOY: )

Thankfully, the Hero's spouse did not read it, as it states that Denzel is aware of the Hero's infidelity and demands 2,000 gold in order to keep him silent. The Hero is instructed to meet Kenneth under the Bowerstone Bridge. Once there, Kenneth, who has a noticeable stutter, asks for the gold. The Hero can pay Kenneth, an option which Kenneth states makes everyone happy; he will not be killed, Denzel gets his money, and the Hero can maintain his/her marriages. Alternatively, the Hero can ignore or murder Kenneth, which results in Denzel informing the Hero's spouses of his/her infidelity.

When the Avatar found him there, he offered the Avatar harpischord lessons about the song, "Stones." The lesson would later prove important to get the Sandalwood Box. After Lord Blackthorn was dethroned, Kenneth returned to Britain and even married. In Ultima VI the Avatar found him as a teacher at the conservatory in Britain. Along with his wife Nan, the two taught promising young bards music and presented concerts. A charming man, he took a nonchalant attitude towards his wife's fear of spiders. He was extremely proud of his promising young student Ariana, and gladly told the Avatar that she was in possession of the Rune of Compassion. Kenneth was currently trying to work the mantra of compassion, 'mu', into a song, and gladly told the Avatar the mantra if asked.

Kenneth is also fought if only your lords are still alive after Chapter 24 E. In this case, Kenneth is left to watch over the Black Fang fortress while Sonia is away, but then is killed in battle with Eliwood and Hector's group. It is worth noting that it is easier to get Karel in his map version, and that he has the only obtainable Aura tome in the game. The Light Brand can be obtained from the desert map if not from Jerme. Regardless of whether he or Jerme is fought in "Pale Flower of Darkness", a morph of Kenneth still appears as a boss in the final chapter, armed with the S Rank light tome Luce.
