- Prior to founding POV, Dozoretz was an employee at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). With ILM, he worked in previsualization on Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. As an ILM concept artist, he worked on Star Trek Generations as well as Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, Disclosure, Casper, Jumanji, Mission: Impossible, and Dragonheart. While working on the 2001 film Behind Enemy Lines, Dozoretz first met fellow previz artist Brian Pohl. In 2005, Dozoretz brought Pohl in to become co-owner and previz supervisor at POV.

Dozoetz' credits as POV's previz supervisor include Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Moulin Rouge, Flight of the Phoenix, xXx: State of the Union, 1408, and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. He also served as previz consultant on X-Men: The Last Stand, starring Kelsey Grammer, Famke Janssen and Patrick Stewart. While working on the 2001 film Behind Enemy Lines, Dozoretz first met fellow previz artist Brian Pohl. In 2005, Dozoretz brought Pohl in to become co-owner and previz supervisor at POV. In 2008 Dozoretz became the Chief Creative Officer of a new television network. He passed on the role of POV Chief Executive Officer to Brian Pohl.
