Dickson, Missy Peregrym, Ben Bass, Enuka Okuma, Dwayne Johnson, James Maslow, Carlos Pena, Jr., Eric Johnson, Breckin Meyer and Peter Weller reprising their roles from the first film with Kendall Schmidt, Mark Wahlberg, Jeff Bridges, Robert Downey, Jr., Don Cheadle, Gregory Smith, Charlotte Sullivan, Travis Milne, Peter Mooney, Logan Henderson and Priscilla Faia. The film marked the final appearance of Robin Williams who passed away on August 11, 2014. Originally slated for release in August 2014, the film was delayed in order to rework the film.
