| abstract | - The ultimate offensive True Illusion technique of Desko's invention. It is Desko's final push against the monsters of the ninja world that have one by one gained ludicrous defense against Genjutsu in one way or another, making Genjutsu mastery obsolete for one on the path of ultimate power. This technique was not named by her, and is in fact the entire reason she has the nickname of Silent Fits, as she doesn't use handseals, or say a word, and may not even deign to look at you when she uses this Genjutsu. Silent Fits is not a continuous technique like most Genjutsu. The moment this technique strikes the target, Desko immediately overloads the target's brain with overwhelming amounts of input and output signals, forcing its synapses to all work at 100% capacity, thereby immediately causing a Fit. As the Fit has already occurred, dispelling the Genjutsu right after, if one is even capable of doing so in such a state (and hence mostly the domain of monsters with preplaned anti-genjutsu techniques), will not stop the Fit from progressing, resulting in a quick and non-lethal incapacitation in the absence of a Medic-nin with the capacity of curing such a state. Most Medic-nin do not even possess such a capacity, as they mostly focus on disinfection and treatment of wounds. In the end, however, this is only the non-lethal application of Silent Fits, and also the only version Desko usually uses. She has, on occasion, used Silent Fits to give her targets heart attacks. By inputting false data into the Medulla oblongata (the part of the brain that controls involuntary muscles), Desko tricks the brain into thinking that the heart is beating, that the body is not breathing, and that the body needs to vomit, all at once. This, in turn, causes the Medulla oblongata to stop sending signals for the heart to beat, and send signals to force the body to breathe and vomit at the same time. This causes the victim to have a heart attack, and if that doesn't kill, the victim will still have to contend with drowning in vomit. As is with its non-lethal version, as the signals are already sent out the moment the Genjutsu strikes, dispelling it after will not stop the heart attack, the vomiting and the forceful breathing from continuing. As is the nature of Genjutsu, both are totally not chakra intensive at all. In fact, as the non-lethal version is significantly more extensive in sensory alterations, it is actually more chakra efficient to use the lethal version.
