- The normal kind of boat can be bought through Buy Mode. There are three main types of boats: paddleboats, sailboats and speedboats. There are also aquasleds, also known as jet skis. Boats are very similar to cars. Just like a car, a boat requires a space to be mounted on. This is not the parking space the car uses, obviously, but rather a boat trailer (or mooring post). A new interaction that comes with Island Paradise is the ability to purchase a boat or car from a parking lot or boat trailer directly, so you don't have to place them down to buy a boat or car. Note that you still need a trailer to place the boat in the world, or your Sims will just carry them in their inventories.
- The boat is a good and fast way to travel across large lakes, sea or even to sail up a river. Beware that the boat crashes, if you hit anything, and you are left with couple pieces of wood and sticks. A boat is faster than a barrel but a barrel can't crash.

- Boats (aka sea vessels) are a form of transportation, mostly in use between Alliance ports, but also between some neutral ports. The Horde equivalent is the zeppelin airship, although some docked Forsaken ships have appeared in Northrend. In patch 2.3.0, transport ships were crewed by NPCs. Unfortunately, the vendors did not work as intended and the crews were removed in a hotfix on 12/06/07. The crew and guards returned in the Wrath of the Lich King beta, and with patch 3.0 on live realms.
- A boat was a type of aquatic vehicle that inhabitants of the Matoran Universe used to travel across water. Although a large canoe on Mata Nui could hold ten Matoran, the city of Metru Nui bustled with massive barges, each of which was able to hold tons of cargo. On Mata Nui Takua lent a boat from Maku to explore the island. Subsequently, after helping save Ga-Koro, he was able to rent a boat from Marka to travel between Ga-Koro, Ta-Wahi and Po-Wahi.
- On AberMUDs and DikuMUDs a boat, held in inventory, is required to enter a water filled room. The alternative is free entry with the skill swimming required.

- The boat is the form of main transport to the different island locations in Chrono Cross. The boat is first gained when Serge and party need to get to the Water Dragon Isle and they go to Arni. It isn't that much use of the boat but the old man by the docks that owns the boat lends it to them for a fee. - A boat is a 2-dimensional object designed for suspending water on objects for finite periods of time (usually 2 days) without sinking. It is based on the physical property of buoyancy, in which something which would normally appear to sink fails to do so. This occurs because air vents at the bottom of lakes, rivers, or oceans release pockets of air mixed with hydrogen which are shot upwards at an alarming rate by the extreme pressure. This gas mixture reaches the boat and the force acting on the bottom of the boat keeps it from sinking.

This gas mixture reaches the boat and the force acting on the bottom of the boat keeps it from sinking. Vent free locations, such as Ireland, cause the boats to sink horribly with the loss of 17 lives. This has led to many comedy adventures, and is considered a method of torture in 63 countries. Locations which have a large concentration of Vents, such as Hawaii, cause the boats to actually levitate above the surface of the water, given the sheer raw forces involved and spells cast by witches of previous generations. Many celebrities have been converted into boats since the process was refined in 1996. Given their status in history, a number of people hold a romanticized view of the common boat. However, these people should be hunted down and executed. Boats are not toys, they’re highly refined printing devices.

Liki are used by the denizens of Spira to travel from Besaid to Kilika and from Kilika to Luca. Some games in which they are more common provide the player with ferry services using some type of boat, in Final Fantasy XII such a service exists in the Estersand. Fuel is often not mentioned, but assumed to be different in the universe in which it exits, for example Gaia use Mist-powered engines for airships yet boats are able to travel world wide where Mist does not exist. In the world of Final Fantasy VII it is likely that Mako serves as a power source as the Shinra Electric Power Company dominate the world due their advancements in technology. Some boats, like the Cargo Ship from Final Fantasy VII, can carry cargo between continents such as the Buggy, they also provide a place where playable characters can interact, usually on deck. In some titles, boats did not include any facilities, and were simply a way for the player to travel around more quickly. In most games, characters cannot get into battle while traveling by boat or ship, however in one notable exception Sin attacks a boat and is fought by the party on deck. In Final Fantasy IV, Leviathan attacked a ship, knocking Rydia overboard and leaving Cecil Harvey stranded on another continent completely on his own. In the case of the Enterprise the Viking ship was later transported into an airship making it more useful as a means of transportation. Boats have been used as tools of war in some games, for example in Final Fantasy IX Queen Brahne attacked both Lindblum and Kuja with the Alexandrian fleet.

(TV: Enlightenment) RMS Lusitania was an ocean liner sunk by the U-20 during World War I. This act finally convinced the United States of America to join the war. (AUDIO: The Sirens of Time) Captain Callany owned a steamboat called the Lankester that sailed from Madagascar to New Orleans every year. First mate De Requin brought a mermaid. The Lankester sank after it ran aground on some rocks. The Sixth Doctor convinced the mermen to save the crew. (COMIC: The Gift) The Fancy was the ship of Henry Avery. Many of its crew were taken by a virtual doctor who deemed them to be ill. The Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, and Rory Williams boarded the Fancy through the The Doctor's TARDIS once the TARDIS sensors responded to a ship in distress. - Once upon a time in a warehouse near a Mississippi ravine, There was a Theodore Roosevelt statue made of solid aquamarine. I have hollowed out quite a comfy living space inside of his head, They still don't know I'm making the noise, they think it's Teddy's spirit instead. Here we go, oh no, top layer of cheese. Oh no, big hornets and bees Speaking Japanese. I'm on fire, I'm on a grenade, Going faster than the Christmas Day parade. Without a doubt, and by far, The greatest way to travel ain't by car. A E I O U sometimes, Y (Why not?) Why not? You know me. I like to disagree. Once upon a time in Morocco, aliens came out of the sky. They said they wanted chocolate coins, they would not tell the president why. People gathered what they could and they put it all inside the alien craft, But it was not enough for the aliens so they killed everybody and laughed. Spring water, natural flavors, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Citric acid, malic acid, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, And cyanocobalamin, yeah. I'm on fire, I'm on a big train, Going faster than Stephen Hawking's brain. There is no way I can win. I won't give up and that's my only sin. A E I O U sometimes Y (Why not?) Why not? You know why. You know why. So row your boat down the stream, You know life is but a dream. You may sense a running theme, But it's never what it seems to seem to be. Or it's not, It's exactly what you thought, But by then you had forgotten The reason you were on that stupid yacht.
- Boats are entities that serve as a mode of transportation across Water. They move in a way similar to how Minecarts move along Rails. They were added in Update 0.11.0.
- Boat rymes with moat. You may be looking for the page moat. Search moat.
