  • Alraune (アルラウネ Aruraune) is a move introduced in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion used by Zafina. It is a follow-up to her Ereshkigal Smack.
  • A magic plant that brings good luck. Difficult to take care of, though, and if it dries up, brings bad luck in proportion to the good luck it previously brought. This folk is only available with Ellen and can be aquired in the Undersea City.
  • Alraune is German for "mandrake". In medieval German folklore, it was believed the Mandrake root (Mandragora officinarum) was produced by the semen of hanged men (apparently it grew under gallows frequently) because "the soil absorbed their final strengths".
  • Alraune is a whip used as a primary weapon by Viirsa Yuriev until her demise. It was named after her mother Alraune Yuriev. It's made of leather and covered in steel barbs for added slicing power. Its fate after Viirsa's death remains unknown.
  • Alraune(アルラウネAruraune) was a Crimson Denizen under Töten Glocke. She was an adjutant to Ullikummi. She was an excellent practitioner of Unrestricted spells and stayed with Ullikummi all the time. She served as an aid during battles and fell in love with him. Her true name was "Fragment of Aerial Blossom"(架綻の片Katan no Hira).
  • Alraunes appear as enemies in the sequel to Final Fantasy IV. Alraunes can only be found during the Crystals Chapter outside of Fabul Castle. Similar to the first game, they can only use the Earthquake ability.
  • Alraune is an enemy fought in Baten Kaitos Origins.
  • Alraunes are slightly stronger than the Weeds you fought back at the Ice Canyon, but that still doesn't say much to their defense. Use Grounda and you'll drop them in one hit. Take them out early on though, because they'll try to inflict you with Virus.
  • One of the strongest Plant-type monsters, and a large departure in comparison to the Dryad, this monster has a large resistance to Fire and to the Curse status, aside of being much stronger than its predecessors. What it makes it particularly dangerous is its Stored Attack, which reduces the Burst Gauge to zero, prolonging the battle and making it easier for enemies to have a chance of killing your party. However, Alraunes have a rather poor HP, so try to take them down as soon as you can.
  • Alraune is one of Ivy's weapons in Soul Calibur II through Soulcalibur V.
  • Alraune are forest-dwelling plant Mamono. Their rooted flowers mean they can't chase down men, and they rely instead on sweet scents to bring their victims to them. Alraune nectar is widely used in demon realms as a food, an aphrodisiac, and a beauty treatment, so these monsters' secretions are always in high demand - especially from grizzlies and honeybees, who steal it by having lesbian sex with the unresisting plantgirls.
  • Alraune is an optional boss in Etrian Odyssey, as well as in Etrian Odyssey III, and she is a highly toxic monster that looks like a woman with many flowers around her. She uses elemental attacks (most notably ice and volt), and she can also use toxins or her tentacles to attack. According to Etrian Odyssey Untold, she is the corrupted form of the Queen of the Forest Folk - warped hideously by the Yggdrasil Core, and permanently fused with the form of a massive flower monster. As a humorous consequence, her plant body specifically resembles a ballgown.
  • Alraune is a summon and an enemy in the Final Fantasy series. It originated in Final Fantasy IV for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Its first appearance as a summon was in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for the Nintendo DS. It was a rank 1 Non-elemental Melee summon, that cost 10 affinity points in order to summon it. It should be noted that in order to gain Alraune as a summon, the player first had to defeat it.
  • The basis of the story of Alraune dates to the Middles Ages in Germany. The humanoid-shaped Mandrake root or Mandragora officinarum was widely believed to be produced by the semen of hanged men under the gallows. Alchemists claimed that hanged men ejaculated after their necks were broken and that the earth absorbed their final "strengths." In some versions, it is blood instead of semen. The root itself was used in love philters and potions while its fruit was supposed to facilitate pregnancy. Witches who "made love" to the Mandrake root were said to produce offspring which had no feelings of real love and had no soul. The name Alraune, which is the German word for Mandrake, comes from a 1911 book of the same name by German author Hanns Heinz Ewers, which uses the original legend as a basis
  • Alraune is a mysterious demon from Inferno akin to Madama Butterfly and Madama Styx who is based around plant imagery. She is the one who holds Jeanne's soul in captivity in order to leech the witch's power in Bayonetta 2. Once a woman who doused herself in mandrake poison and took her own life as a means of getting revenge on the husband who left her. The poison continued through her skin and devoured her soul. Consumed by delusions and hallucinations, she was at last reincarnated in Inferno. Myth places her as the young daughter of a noble estate, but none of her past visage can be determined from her current demon form. She searches the bottom of hell for the most exquisite souls, then injects poison into their nerves to make them eternal "lovers" at her palace. Insatiable desire and ob

abstract
  • Alraune (アルラウネ Aruraune) is a move introduced in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion used by Zafina. It is a follow-up to her Ereshkigal Smack.
• A magic plant that brings good luck. Difficult to take care of, though, and if it dries up, brings bad luck in proportion to the good luck it previously brought. This folk is only available with Ellen and can be aquired in the Undersea City.
In Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift for the same handheld, Alraune appeared as standard enemies once more. The Alraune is a Mandragora species of monster, along with the Deadly Nightshade. It is considered one of the weaker types of enemies in the game.

The battle theme is Scatter About in both the first and third games, as she is an optional boss.

The name Alraune, which is the German word for Mandrake, comes from a 1911 book of the same name by German author Hanns Heinz Ewers, which uses the original legend as a basis for the book's plot.

If they happen to find themselves living in a pro-monster or demon realm town rather than out in the green wilderness, Alraune often wind up with the apparetly odd career path of working in confectionary shops . This is because their honey, and also their knowledge of plant cultivation for prisoner fruits, mean they're very helpful when making desserts. Alraune are one of the few species that don't gestate their children at any point; instead, impregnation enables them to produce seeds, which they scatter after winter. Although alraune are now all female, they still produce pollen too as a hangover from the era of the Former Demon Lord, which can trigger (sexy) illnesses in women that breathe it in: Alraune pollen allergy. The alraune have a mutant subspecies, the liliraune, where two female bodies grow inside one flower bulb.
