He was distracted a moment and forgot he had toothpaste in his mouth and accidentily swallowed some. "Ack! Dammit!" He spat into the sink quickly and grabbed the towel to dry off his face. He looked outside the window again and saw a fight going on. Punches were being thrown as neighbor fought neighbor. Jacob was surprised and hurried to resolve the fight. He finally was finished in the bathroom and ran into his room and jumped on his bed to get his shoes on. As he tied his shoes, he heard the neighbors as one began begging to stop. He hurried and as he was done, he bolted out the door, one hand on his sidearm. He ran across the street and jumped the attacking neighbor. They both fell onto the grass and the neighbor on the ground was feeling relief that he would live. Jacob and the neighbor went rolling in the grass, fighting each other to break free. Jacob held on tight until they both hit the tree headfirst. Jacob got up and immediately reached for his head and started feeling a sharp pain coming in. the other neighbor did not wake up. Jacob finally lost the feeling of the pain and looked down at the neighbor in the grass as he was there unconscious. He saw a dead man. Oh, God. He thought in horror. Oh, God! Oh God! He knew it was too late to do anything. He just walked away from the corpse and tried not to say anything happened. I killed him... Jacob didn't know he was going to die. He never knew that would kill him. He didn't want to know it would kill him! All he knew was that he felt it was the right thing to do to save one's life from the other. He came up to the other neighbor who was getting up after all the injuries he had. The neighbor brushed off the dirt on his legs and looked at Jacob in the face. He saw a shocked man who had seen something terrifying. "Are you alright?" He asked Jacob. Jacob didn't respond, but looked at him and walked away. The neighbor was surprised, but also was scared at what happened, even though he didn't know yet. He turned round and walked back to his house and that is when he saw the corpse. He screamed and it was heard for miles. Jacob couldn't get it out of his head. He tried to by turning the TV on, by flipping through every channel he could, but nothing could help. He killed a man. He didn't do anything for a while and waited for the Police to Come, but the wait was long. It was Three Hours before the first Police Car arrived down the street. Then four hours have passed and three Police Cars came down the street. The First Policeman busted down the door and pointed the gun directly at him in the chair and said, "Get Down on the Ground, Now!" Jacob didn't move at all. He didn't respond, but he remained there in his seat, hoping this nightmare would be over soon. Three Policemen moved in and one pushed him onto the floor. They came and two held him down while one cuffed him. He was picked up by one of the Cops and was told, "You're under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do will be used against you in a court of law." The officer read him his right as he was shoved into the back of a police car and driven away. Jacob didn't wake up.
