| abstract | - The Yang Release: White Sword Technique (陽遁・白刃の術, Yōton: Hakujin no Jutsu) is a signature technique of Yoshihira that is deeply ingrained into his Kenjutsu prowess, being a fluid combination of Ninjutsu and the former art in order to explosively enhance his base fighting style. The technique is quite simple in application, but it has various results depending on the amount of effort placed into it. The basic technique's principle is the flowing of chakra into the sword and then subsequently strengthening the physical component of whatever the chakra is making contact with via a conversion to Yang Release, hence causing an increase in the strength, speed and cutting power of his sword. Due to Yoshihira's expert control, he has separated its use into three levels. is the level employed with his regular swordsmanship, bolstering the sword's overall cutting power and range in a similar vein to the Samurai Sabre Technique, but with an additional level of spontaneity that makes tracking the technique's activation difficult for the naked eye; it leaves a white line in the slash's wake. is a higher level of the technique, where a single slash produces enough force to visibly create a compressed wave of force that can repel any standard enemies with ease, empowering the force of his base slash significantly. He normally laces this energy into his blade for explosive power behind the force of every slash. Finally, is the highest level of the technique. At the moment of the slash, a sudden, significant, conversion of excess chakra to Yang at the tip of Yoshihira's sword explosively enhances the power of his strike to the point where it could be compared to an elemental technique in sheer potency. Its cutting power can render stone and other large structures shattered, in addition to being able to repel techniques of similar power with relative ease. However, given the scale of the said level, he rarely uses it unless it's truly necessary.
