  • The Wyrm is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. It is an upgraded version of the Wyvern, having slightly higher stats than its orange cousin, and appears around Onrac and the Mirage Tower. When they appear around Onrac, they come in groups up to four Wyrms, when they appear in the Mirage Tower, they come with Wyverns. As they have higher stats than the Wyvern, they may be harder to defeat. However, the difference is not very big, and they are not that much of a threat. Instant Death spells like Quake will miss because the Wyrm is flying, but it is not needed to win the battle; simply attack normally with the Knights, Masters, and Ninjas, and use magic with the Red Mages, White Mages, and Black Mages.
