  • Invisible stalker is a type of monster in ADOM. They are rare monsters that, as the name implies, are always invisible. PCs lacking the ability to see invisible will sometimes notice being attacked by "something"... though this something is often easy to locate if the PC walking down a narrow corridor. They have a quite strong attack, so frail PCs should not delay in trying to locate and get rid of one. Since the only other type of non-unique monster that tends to wander around invisible is the ogre magus, if "something" doesn't suddenly bolt the PC with cold spells then it is more than likely a stalker.
  • Invisible Stalkers are completely harmless level 1 NPCs. They are apparently located in several places and act as invisible triggers that activate certain things in game.

Just a moment ago she was hiding in your shadow, now she creeps into a crack in the wall, and now she even hides behind the air itself! There must be something beyond common stealth and dexterity behind those powers of not being seen.
