Mere seconds after returning to his hotel room following his call to Haziq Khaleel, Nasim was ambushed and attacked by Mossad operative, Michael Rivkin who had been waiting for Nasim to return home with Rivkin stabbing Nasim once in the stomach before fleeing the scene. This wound caused Nasim to collapse and die almost immediately with his body being found seconds later by NCIS Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Mike Renko arrived at Nasim's apartment and discovered the terrorist's body, realizing with dismay that Rivkin had evaded them yet again while leaving another body, this time, Nasim's in his wake.
