This star's system was recently conquered by the Klingons. (DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad") The Romulan starship Gasko might possibly have been named after this star. According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 63) and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", p. 33; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), Gasko was an A-class star. According to a map of the Romulan Empire – prepared by the Stellar Archivist Lsel Essik, from the Romulan Master Data Catalog, in 2366 – Gasko was identified as a Romulan star.
