Biography
  • Perry Tripp is a former NASCAR driver from Fredericktown, MO. He competed in three Busch Series and one Craftsman Truck Series event in his career. Craftsman Truck Series Tripp's NASCAR debut would come in 1996, competing at Nazareth. Starting last in the Jim Rosenblum truck, Tripp didn't even get to complete a lap before mechanical issues doomed him to finish last as well. He also attempted a CTS race later in the year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in his own truck, but did not qualify. Busch Series Tripp's debut in the Busch Series came in 1997, competing at Rockingham event for Whitaker Racing. Starting 37th, Tripp lasted just two laps in the race before an accident swept him to a last-place finish. Despite that, Whitaker and Tripp teamed up for Tripp's final two career races, both coming in 1998. He again found trouble early at Pikes Peak, this time having an engine problem leave him 39th. But he made up for it decently at Gateway, driving his way to a career-best 29th place run, three laps down. External Links *Stats
