  • Flare (Japanese: フレア Furea) is a recurring character in Truth and Ideals, and is a character type dubbed an "Ambassador". Like another character in Truth and Ideals, she is labeled by the narrative as a male character prior to the reveal of her actual gender. 15 years ago, Hoopa and Ghetsis collaborated with each other to which Hoopa ensnared Flare into the Pokémon universe by force, which resulted in Ghetsis using an experimental device to corrupt Flare's mind and brainwash her; this very device being the prototype of what would later be used for numerous other characters down the road by Ghetsis as well. As a result of most of her appearances in Truth and Ideals having her in an antagonistic role, not only does it force the hand of Tempest, her co-worker, to show up to the scene, but it

desc
  • Flare's Fresh Level form. Considering the weakness of this form even when compared to her In-Training form, Botamon is never Degenerated down into at all during Truth and Ideals unless in absolute emergency. It is considered a Normal Type with the ability Thick Fat.
  • Flare's Champion Level form. While not seen directly as Greymon, BlackGreymon appears when Flare is being used by Ghetsis on the field after an experiment caused Flare to degenerate to her Rookie form; this results in Flare needing to regain her original power to become Mega Level again, and thus she evolves into BlackGreymon as the first step. Greymon is considered Normal/Fire, but BlackGreymon is Dark/Fire. Both forms have the ability Moxie.
  • Flare's In-Training Level form. Considering low in power, but very easy to hide as, this form is only used when Flare needs to get into places too small for her higher forms. It is considered a Normal Type with the ability Thick Fat.
  • Flare's Mega Level form. First seen under the control of Hoopa, she is the very first Ambassador character ever seen in Truth and Ideals through this form. While she almost has enough power to overwhelm Warlord-Samurott, Ash activating Aura Blitz and as using Aura Storm against Flare proved too much for her to handle at once, which snaps her out of Hoopa's control. In all of her publicly released appearances, this and her corrupted variation of ChaosGreymon are so far the only forms she is shown to have used. WarGreymon is considered to be Ground/Fire, with ChaosGreymon considered to be Ground/Dark. Both forms have two abilities with the same effect of having contact damaging moves dealt by the user as dealing super-effective damage to Dragon Types, with WarGreymon's version of it called "Dramon Killer", and ChaosGreymon's version being called "Dramon Destroyer".
  • Flare's Ultimate Level Form. While MetalGreymon isn't seen at all, MetalGreymon is seen during Flare regaining her Mega Level during the League Arc. The usage of this form nearly results in exposing Ghetsis' cover, and thus he retreats, but just barely as Flare begins to show signs of going completely berserk in this form. Vaccine MetalGreymon is considered Steel/Fire, but its Virus variation is considered Steel/Dark with both forms having the ability Sturdy.
  • Flare's Rookie Level form. Agumon is not seen directly in Truth and Ideals yet. BlackAgumon, however, is seen during experimentation with the brainwashing device by Ghetsis, in which Flare loses too much power from her ChaosGreymon form and degenerates into Agumon, and when the device is place on her again, becomes BlackAgumon in response. Agumon is considered Normal/Fire, but BlackAgumon is considered Dark/Fire. Both forms have the ability Moxie.
  • Flare's shared final form with Tempest; the Ultra Level Omegamon. Roughly on par with Mega Evolved Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon, this form may not be as durable, but in terms of sheer offensive power alone, it is completely unmatched. This form is the result of a fusion between Flare and Tempest. It is considered a Steel/Fighting Type with the unique ability "Royal Knight", which allows it to deal an extra 100 Base Power damage against a target which either resists or is immune to one of the user's attacks used on the same turn this ability activates. It deals either Physical or Special Damage based off of what the previously used move was.
