  • Michael was a protagonist in the 1966 movie Manos: The Hands of Fate. Michael was played by the movie's director and producer Harold P. "Hal" Warren. Michael was married to Margaret and they had a young daughter named Debbie. One day in 1966 Michael and Margaret went on a road trip. Arriving in El Paso Michael and Margaret stopped to assure Debbie that soon the fun would begin. Trying to find their hotel and refusing to get good directions Michael and his family got completely lost in the back country near El Paso. Arriving at a strange lodge they found Torgo at the lodge. Tired and wanting to rest Michael was able to talk Torgo into letting them stay, even though The Master would not approve. Debbie's dog was soon killed by the Master's Devil Dog. Even though it was night time Margaret convinced Michael that they had to leave. Michael had Torgo put the luggage back in the car but the car wouldn't start. Michael was unable to find anything wrong with the car either. With the nearest phone 10 miles away Torgo told Michael and family they could spend the night. After uncovering the tomb where the Master and his wife slept Michael went out to confront Torgo, but Torgo came up and knocked him out. Margaret meanwhile was undressing for bed. With Michael out of the way Torgo crept up to the window to watch Margaret removing her clothes. The Master and the Wives soon woke up. The Master went out to find Torgo and inform him that he was less than pleased with his performance. The wives started holding a debate over what to do with Michael and family - including whether or not to kill the child. The debate soon broke down into a large nightgown fight. While this was going on the Master woke up Torgo in order to inform him his employment was terminated soon to be followed by his wife. Torgo decided to help Michael and his family, but the Master hypnotized him before he could make good on his words. Michael woke up and went back to the cabin. Finding his wife and daughter the pair fled into the desert but changed their minds upon encountering a large snake. After finishing off Torgo The Master caught up with Michael and his family. Michael fired two shots at the Master, which only made him go out of focus. Debbie and Margaret were forced to be his wives. A few days later a couple women arrived, to be greeted by Michael, who had taken Torgo's place.
