Food is divine!! ebbhead @sreenet If staying on river, Tarrytown - nice shops in dwntwn, Hdsn Riv Museum in Ynkrs, Dobbs Ferry celbrting their Quadricentennial oline73 @sreenet here's a suggestion: drive south. newenglandgirl @sreenet Have you taken your children to Muscoot Farm? Sumeet Sood: Kykuit the Rockefeller residence on Pocantico Hills, if it is still open Sumeet Sood: Lyndhurst in Philipsburg Manor, Vinaya Joseph: Why not just have a nice nap...Do nothing...try keeping yourself from thinking...it is a challenge...if you are awake try to keep yourself from thinking...mind devoid of thoughts...let us see if you can do it.. Nicole Neroulias Gupte: I see you're at PM (near where I grew up, btw) - you're not far from Union Church, a historic church in Pocantico where you can see stained glass windows by Matisse and Chagall. It's worth a look - and you might run into a Rockefeller! If you want someplace to eat near where you are now, try Striped Bass or Sunset Cove - they're both by the river behind the Tarrytown train station. Otherwise, I've had nice dinners at Harvest on Hudson (in Hastings). For future reference, here's a list of things to some fun family things to do in Westchester: Amy Mehta: The Hudson River Museum in Yonkers is a great place for kids & adults... Himatee Patel: Raj Gilda: Drive in cinema - overlook Drive-in Rekha Chedalavada: Kykuit the Rockefeller estate, Washington Irving's home. here's a link to events Sumeet Sood: the neuberger museum is a gem, even for us museum saturated New Yorkers, that has been on my fave list, and it is modern art the kids would imbibe a lot Arun Kristian Das: try some vineyards in the hudson valley.. or go to the malls in white plains... and there's always skeet shooting... Michael Cowan: Go have lunch and then take a tour at Stone Barns/Blue Hill—you'll feel like you went to Tuscany for the afternoon Noel Pangilinan: Go have lunch or dinner in City Island. Marilyn Abalos: Are you near Tanglewood? Perhaps you can catch a concert on the lawn. Or you can go antique-ing.
