Unfortunately, it was these broadcasts that alerted the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah to the Gg's existence in 2142, and while under attack by the tremendously hostile species, they correctly deduced that the Kohr-Ah had used the HyperWave signals to locate them, and chose to warn the Burvixese as to the Kohr-Ah's approach and to silence all further HyperWave broadcasts. Unfortunately, the Gg did not survive the onslaught of the black Ur-Quan and their Marauders, and were eradicated as their world was incinerated in that same year. Due to their being a shy species in terms of visualization, they were loath to engage in any visual transmissions, and so their appearance was a mystery to the not only the Burvixese, but would have been to all species besides the possibility of the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah themselves.
