Champions are a class of Melee fighters in RuneScape Assault!. They focus on attack, fighting accurately, using parries and evasion more than a Berserker, but less than a Duelist. A high attack is vital for a champion, but defense is important too. Strength is as well, up to a point, but will soon become useless, as the Champion's victory lies not in pummeling the opponent, but striking wisely. - The Champion represents ODIN's divine force of retribution. A strong warrior able to deal out a wide variety of caustic force field and anti-gravity based effects, increasing the combat effectiveness of his allies. One-handed weapons are the Champion's chosen tools of combat. Please check out the Skills section.
- Champions stand above their fellow-warriors as the oak towers above the other trees of the forest. Champions are tried and tested warriors, the best of their band. None can best them in single combat. Often when two armies meet, their champions will go forth to single combat, and the outcome of the fight is seen as a powerful omen as to how the battle will go, for champions are the very best of their army. Due to their prestige and the honor in which they are held, they are rallying points for their comrades, and often lead troops into the fray. Their very presence is inspiring to their allies and strikes dread into their foes. With them near, even lesser warriors can become inspired to new heights; but when a champion falls, so does the morale of the warriors about him. A champion can mak
- The Champion had several unique moves: Walking up to his his target, the Champion bashes the head of his axe into their gut, winding them and keeling them over, before bringing his weapon around and embedding it into the back of his victim's neck. Pulling back roughly on his axe, the Champion lets his target fall to the ground, where they die of blood loss from their injuries.
- The Champion class is a master of melee offense. Champions can specialize in dual-wielding or two-handed combat emphasizing on dealing consistent damage. They have a very high single target dps (damage per second) and do the most AoE (area of effect) damage of all the classes. Champions function as tanks or off-tanks in smaller instances. They cannot use shields but can wear heavy armour and have a few defensive skills and morale bubbles to keep them alive. Some champion skills are best saved for one versus one fighting, others "Engage the Tide" ("area of effect" skills). A champion's Fervour stance greatly increases all melee damage, but prevents the champion from parrying or evading any attacks. Another stance, Ardour, only increases AoE damage, but allows parrying and evading. The champ
- Champions are one of the units in Conquest. Champions are, without a doubt, the strongest unit on the battlefield. Their movement is somewhat lacking, but they pack a punch, and few units can survive more than a hit from them. Though they must be wary of ranged units, if encountered toe-to-toe, it is likely the champion will come out on top. The one to watch is chastise, which with the lack of a protective command such as Stoicism or Shield Wall can leave a champion vulnerable to a Battle Cry by a knight or another champion.

- This article refers to The Champion as "he". Please note this is purely for author's convenience, Females may be Champions as well as Males. A Champion knows when to defend, and when not to strike, when to duck, and when to charge. He uses his reflexes and blade evenly.
Judging by the name, these are key players in championeer squads, which usually consist of three or four champions and a lot of scouts. Good commands to use with champions are Regenerate, Battle Cry, Bombard and Charge, but these are by no means the best way to lead a championeer squad - these are only suggestions.
- He was assigned to guard Collinson, but was overpowered by one of General Charles Carrington's men. (TV: The Ambassadors of Death)
The champions final stance, Glory, gives no damage bonuses and is best suited for tanking. Champions can wear heavy armor starting at level 20, use any one-handed or two-handed melee weapon besides staves, duel-wield, and can use a bow or a champion horn. Champions start using two-handed weapons at level 10.

Their high Vitality combined with high Critical Ratio make them a powerful DD and/or tank. The use of Spiracles allow them to further increase Vitality, heal, enable defensive/offensive self buffs or can be used to cast powerful attacks. __TOC__ Using bow skills (previously learned through the Fighter Job) in combination with axe skills, Champion prove to be a formidable Job in PvP that is capable of disabling targets from great distances. Compared to the Soldier and Knight (Deva Jobs), the Champion lacks some defensive capabilities by not having shield skills. However with the Spiracle of Vitality self-buff active, the Champion's Vitality exceeds those of all Warrior classes.
- The Champion debuted in 2602 from Bergan Industries and is the second BattleMech released by Bergan Industries, following just over a century after their highly successful Locust design. The Champion was intended to work in heavy recon and fast strike roles. The Champion has been criticized as a ‘Mech that is too heavy for its role, citing that it is both under armored and under-gunned. It has also been pointed out that the Champion's greatest weakness is the use of single heat sinks which can cause the ‘Mech to suffer from some heat problems when weapons are used aggressively.

- Though the force of his/her punches are feared far and wide, the Monk realizes that he/she has neglected something very important—his spirit remains unsatisfied. Thus his body and spirit are not yet in harmony. Through rigorous training and intense dedication, the Monk will finally tap into the strength of his entire being and become a Champion! A Champion is the Transcendent variant of Monk. Known for the one-hit skill, Guillotine Fist/Asura Strike. Champions are even deadlier in close range combat due to their boosted SP count and STR. Champions get mostly new combo-skills as their transcendental skills. Combo skills are mostly used for PvM but still can wreck havoc in PvP if executed properly. The most loved boost is probably the new skill Zen and the increase in HP and SP since Guillotine Fist/Asura Strike relies on the STR and SP count of the caster. With 69 skill points to allocate, Champions can now have the most commonly used (PvP wise) skills maxed. Although the new skills are disappointing for those who are PvP oriented, the 69 skill points to allocate makes up for it and makes them able to get all offensive spirit skills maxed and get Snap at the same time.

A champion can make or break a battle. Much relies on him and great is his responsibility.

- Champion is the greatest superhero Chicago has ever produced. Unfortunately, being Champion is not conducive to a long life: there have been six Champions to date. This article will probably be broken out into several different articles. All of the Champions have been Avatars, holders of the Champion Force. The Champion Force is a meld of a number of different spirits that have been combined by a mysterious process that sometimes occurs with high level avatars. There are at least four other Forces known: the Magus Force, the Astarte Force, the Dynamo Force and the oddly-named Fred Force. Champion's name has been associated with pulp-era-style taglines over the years, among which are "Champion of Righteousness and Decency" and "Champion of justice and righteousness." Redford waved that aside. “Okay, you may be in a position to answer a question that’s bugged me for YEARS. Where did ‘Junior Champion’ and ‘Miss Champion’ come from? I mean… that whole ‘Olympian’ thing was a complete mass of hogwash! HOW did he ‘pass along his powers’ to them?” “Wow! An intelligent question! What a novelty! Okay, okay, sorry - yes, that IS a good question, and it’s one that I can actually answer. Where to start… Okay, first of all, as you just said, that whole ‘Olympian’ thing that Champ came out with was complete hogwash, it was SO corny that even I wouldn’t have used it. It took me years to figure this out, but as it turns out, Champ was NOT the recipient of some strange energy from some dying world. Rather, he was a mutant, a variation of a trait that they now call ‘Avatar’. Y’see, he sucked up spirits, devils, magical energy, spells, curses, all that, and he sort of mashed them all together into what they now call a ‘Force’, after the ‘Olympian Force’. The more spirits, hexes, and what all he mashed into that ‘Olympian Force’ the more powerful he got. By 1940, he was fucking FLYING!” Redford leaned forward avidly. “What exactly IS ‘the Olympian Force’?” Townsend shrugged. “Hell if I know. It doesn’t act like any spirit, godling, djinn, spell, hex, curse or blessing that I’VE ever seen. Certain elements in the Syndicate have plans to try to steal the Champion Force.

Walking up behind his target, the Champion rapidly swings his axe into the right of their waist and removes it. While his victim begins to react from the pain, he fluidly finishes them off with another attack to the base of the neck, cutting down into his victim's windpipe and causing them to collapse to the floor from suffocation and blood loss. Rushing towards his target from the front, the Champion surprises them by swiftly lifting them off of the ground with both of his hands. Before they can react, he drops down to one knee and slams his victim down hard onto his leg, snapping their spine on contact. From there, the Champion lets his dead target's body roll from his knee as he stands up, his victim lying motionless on the ground. Racing towards his target from behind, the Champion swiftly punches them in the side of their waist, winding them and leaving them vulnerable. As his victim reacts, he grabs them by their head and yanks it backwards, leaning them over at an uncomfortable angle, before brutally slamming his clenched fist down onto their chest. With his strength shattering their ribcage, the Champion leaves his target to fall to the floor, where they cough up blood due to the forceful impact. Grabbing his seated target's foot, the Champion drags them off the bench until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, he forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking his target's neck on the bench behind them. Leaping from above, the Champion lands onto his target with his axe unsheathed, before driving it into their face. Shattering the skull of his unfortunate victim, he roughly yanks his weapon out and sheathes it, while leaving them to die on the floor.
