  • Chanoch Nissany (born 29 July, 1963 in Tel Aviv, Gush Dan, Tel Aviv District, Israel) is an Israeli racing driver, the first from his country to drive a Formula One car, when he took part in free practice for the 2005 Hungarian Grand Prix for Minardi. He only started racing aged 38 in 2002, in Hungarian F2000. After three F3000 races in 2004, Nissany's personal sponsor UPEX, managed to secure a one-off drive in the free practice session in the country he was popular in. However, it was far from a success, as the 42-year-old could only muster a time thirteen seconds of the pace. __TOC__
