rdfs:comment
  • The Martyr's Progeny is the collective term used to describe children (aged from birth to 14 years) who were spared from death by the deity Torm when he absorbed the souls of his followers in Tantras during the Time of Troubles in 1358 DR. Torm required the absorption of these souls in order to defeat Bane's avatar, knowing that those whose souls had been taken would die instantly. At the risk of not gaining enough power from the available souls, Torm chose to spare the children, who subsequently became known as the Martyr's Progeny, and as of 1372 DR are aged between 14 and 28.
