  • A tribe of people that live in the Holy Country * They feud with the Wasp Riders * They worship Enra Source: King of Sartar
  • The Bee People are an insectoid race which inhabits their homeworld of Beeland, a tropical world, living in massive beehive like cities. The majority of the species has dark green skin, though their Queens have pink to purple skin. They are a relatively primitive species, although they were given advanced technology by the Gamilons.
  • The Bee People are a race of bee-like humanoids from Botanica that appeared in the Season 7 episode "Sassette's Hive". They are a peaceful race which tend to the flowers of their land and build beautiful cities made of royal jelly. They are led by their kind ruler, Queen Beetrice. They are also the regular victims of their arch-enemies, the Wasp Renegades who constantly steal their honey and try to enslave them. The Bee People are a very simple race with simple minds, specifically the drones, who are incapable of making decisions on their own, constantly needing the aid of their Queen to get anything done.
  • A race with an allegedly eusocial structure; roughly, one queen and lots of workers. Since this inevitably brings to mind ants and bees, it's often a One-Gender Race with some military/warrior overtones. Almost always occurs if the race is even vaguely insectoid, even though this isn't a common set-up for most insects. It's just very easy to associate a hive with a civilization structure, as bees and ants are often seen as extremely advanced insects who act a little like us. Compare Hive Caste System and Fantastic Caste System. Related to Intelligent Gerbil. Examples of Bee People include:

The Bee People are a very simple race with simple minds, specifically the drones, who are incapable of making decisions on their own, constantly needing the aid of their Queen to get anything done. In "Sassette's Hive", the Wasp Renegades kidnapped Queen Beetrice and used her as a hostage to take control of her subjects. The Smurfs (who were in Botanica visiting the Queen) and the Queen's nephew Buzzy aided the Bee People in rescuing the Queen from the Wasp Renegades and their leader King Sting. After the successful rescue of the queen, the Bee People banished the Wasp Renegades from their land, finally bringing peace.
Which group is designated as "drones" depends on the writer's knowledge of what those actually are, but they rarely get a break. Occasionally there's a small subversion that shows that drones do perform vital functions besides breeding, that most people just don't notice. The queen herself looks different from everyone else, although she'll act like a human queen and is implied to be the strongest, instead of just being an egg factory. A "Hive Mind" or telepathic link among members of the race, whether by supernatural or more scientific means, such as radio antennae, is an almost universal feature. Naturally, it will actually be completely centralized within the Hive Queen. Compare Hive Caste System and Fantastic Caste System. Related to Intelligent Gerbil. Examples of Bee People include:
