rdfs:comment | - Tooth and Claw is the Hunterheart’s blessing. The Beast blessed with it can inflict lethal damage instead of bashing damage when fighting unarmed.
- This timeline speculates what would happen if, c.65,000,000 years ago, a giant asteroid (or swarm of asteroids, depending on your view) failed to hit the Earth.
- Tooth and Claw is a passive druid ability learned at level 32 for those with the Guardian specialization. It gives autoattacks a chance to empower [Maul]. The empowered Maul decreases the damage caused by the enemy's next autoattack.
- Werewolves? Herewolves! Also, the koh-i-noor turns out to be an anti-werewolf weapon devised by Prince Albert while he and the lord of Torchwood manor were getting their dicks pierced together. Also also, there are Scottish shaolin monks, which should be a pretty awesome concept but it's just used for a bit of color in the cold open and then never seen again, which is a huge fucking waste. The entire episode is inspired by a BBC ident.
- From the back cover: Ntignano was a populated world with a perfect sun -- until the right technology fell into the wrong hands. Now the sun is failing quickly, and the Starship Enterprise has just one chance to evacuate the fleeing refugees. Captain Jean-Luc Picard must succeed in delicate negotiations with the only people who can help them: a prickly neighboring species known as the Tsorans.

abstract | - Tooth and Claw is the Hunterheart’s blessing. The Beast blessed with it can inflict lethal damage instead of bashing damage when fighting unarmed.
To assist in that effort, Commander Will Riker was assigned a very different diplomatic task. As a polite formality and show of good faith, he accompanied a young Tsoran prince to an exclusive hunting preserve. There, technology-damping fields and some of the galaxy's deadliest predators were supposed to test the untried noble's ability in the kaphoora -- the hunt. But the shuttlecraft didn't land on Fandre; it crashed. Now, cut off from Tsora and the Enterprise, the survivors of the disaster face the ultimate struggle for survival. Without the aid of tricorders or phasers, Riker, his royal charge, and their would-be rescuers must fight for their lives with the only weapons they can muster -- spears and bat'leth, tooth and claw.
