The Succubus characters can also gain an Evility in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice that adds the Deprave effect to their Normal Attacks. Specialists can be added to weapons to increase the chances of Deprave on the enemy that is hit. Deprave in the Disgaea franchise is not related to the ailment in other RPGs often called Charmed. Charmed tends to cause a different effect, often making the inflicted automatically attack their friends but not the enemies. When Disgaea 2 came out, Deprave became noticeably stronger, also cutting the stats of the inflicted by twenty percent. This effect was carried over into Disgaea 3.
