- Blood Feud is the fourth episode of Season 5 of The Mentalist.
- A blood feud was a deadly and often legal vendetta against another person. Almost any kind of offense could start a blood feud, but it was usually declared when a samurai died needlessly at the hands of another. The victim (if he was dishonored or wronged rather than killed) and his immediate family were the only ones who might participate in the feud.
- Blood Feud is the twenty-second and final episode of Season 2. The episode includes the debut of the Olmec head Xtapolapocetl, which would become a common background prop in the Simpson home. It features several reference to the movie, Citizen Kane, and songs such as "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath.
- Blood Feud is a rogue talent from the Duelist specialization in Dragon Age II.
- The good team starts out outside the castle, while the evil team starts in the throne room.
- Birgit declared a blood feud against Roran for his role in the death of her husband, Quimby. Despite this feud, the two acted together in both ensuring the safety of Carvahall and in Birgit's aiding of Roran's wedding ceremony. Despite this, Roran knew that she was a deadly enemy and had to find a way to deal with her, or pay her price. At the end of Inheritance, Birgit settles her blood feud with Roran by cutting the palm of his hand with her sword.

Text | - Perhaps you will be of more use when you grow up. As such, I will give you this pair of BRA boots. Everyone needs a set of Battle Ready Armor.
- "She will regret the day she ever tried to claim [Your Holding]."
- Rona comes to you, grim. "A raven, my [lord/lady]. From Lady Chernoff. 'My son is dead and you will pay. Ten men for every drop of blood he shed.'"
- I'm told that the spooky monsters in Eternal Vistas are more aggressive towards children. I'll admit that my curiosity is piqued. Care to test the theory?
- Well, how... interesting. Come back to me and I will reward you.
- Yes, it would appear that the supernatural creatures in the cemetery are no match for children like you. How very... disappointing.
- "She and Jorgen were our enemies. Better to fight openly than be poisoned from within."
- "It was a mistake sending Jorgen north. I would bring him back if I could."
