Robin and the Scarlet Speedster reach a climactic showdown with both the Riddler and Captain Boomerang, but there are even bigger shocks in store for Tim Drake as Stephanie, the Spoiler, goes into labor! Summary of Stephness: The Flash and Robin try to solve the next attack of Captain Boomerang and The Riddler. The Flash looks around the city while Robin analyzes the riddles. Meanwhile, Tim calls Stephanie for news and asks her about the baby. Stephanie tells him she's thinking about keeping it. Tim thinks this is a bad idea, pointing out the extra responsibility and that her baby (like its mother) will never have a decent father. But he tells Stephanie the decision is ultimately hers, and once again promises he will try to be present at the birth. After this call, Robin continues research on the next probable place of attack for the villainous duo. Figuring out the riddle, Tim catches the pair robbing a charity auction. He apprehends the Riddler, and Flash apprehends Boomerang. At Flash's place, Robin calls Stephanie and her mother answers. Stephanie has been taken to the hospital, she is in labor and there are serious complications. Robin gets Flash to run him to Gotham City. At the hospital, a nearly delirious Stephanie moans about her boyfriend not being there, saying he promised. Her mom promises to keep an eye out of him, saying to a nurse she never knew the two were that close. But at the last minute, Robin shows up, hidden behind a doctors mask. He reassures Steph everything will be okay, though he's more scared than he's ever felt in his life.
