Uliur took the old Omega superstructure, which was flattened and curved, and added on a modified version of the Victory-class and Imperial-class bridge designs. The modifications were that the shield generators were moved to a more secure location, while the space that had originally housed the generators was left open. The Venator-class' contribution was its oversized hangar design. While not as extensive as that of the Venator-class, the Raklem-class' hangar allows it to carry two full wings of fighters, making it very deadly. The ship can enter atmosphere and land to launch the bulk of its soldiers. It was the first ship to begin the idea of Core Values that Uliur would later work with Tej Muir to catalog and implement in future designs. The design would go on to become a heavily used ship within the ranks of the Muir Navy, specifically in the defense fleets that performed patrols throughout the various territories.
