This is also the opening of the movie, as well as the song This is Halloween. The inhabitants include Jack Skellington (the "Pumpkin King" in charge of yearly Halloween festivities), Sally the Ragdoll, Dr. Finkelstein, the Mayor, and Lock, Shock and Barrel. The town is one of seven holiday worlds seen in the film (with Christmas Town being the only other holiday world featured in the story) in a place called the Hinterlands.
