Wanda found herself working on a pro-bono case as a lawyer for Kyle Watson. When she received inside information from Max Kivalo that he was setup by the police, she began investigating further as to who the real killer could be.
After her daughter Cyan was kidnapped, she was relieved to have her returned unharmed. However, she was shocked to find Cyan was carrying her and Al's old wedding ring. Over the next few weeks, Wanda found her mind continually drifting to Al and his wedding ring. She was terrified that what happened to Al would happen to Terry and frequently harped on him to remain a 'desk jockey'.
