His spirit along with the Jedi and Sith were trapped within the Thought Bomb. He discovered that Kaan was able to break away, leaving his followers to dwell for a thousand years. LaTor was able to resist the dark side, along with the other sith, including Githany, and taking their step towards the light side. Five years after the Battle of Yavin, Kyle Katarn freed LaTor and the trapped spirits from their prison. LaTor and Githany appeared to Kyle and thanked him for freeing the spirits and became one with the Force.
