The bio-lifeforms were semi-sentient organisms developed through extensive years of research concerning aquatic predators. The first subject was created in a hidden research facility deep beneath Saulos' Ocean. The subject at hand was considerably larger than all the others that would come later, and thus, it was named the Leviathan Emperor. Its genetic template was then used as a basis for the later Leviathan series. The Head of the Department stressed that main purpose of the Leviathan was the subjugation/the annihilation of native aquatic species during wartime.
