| abstract | - Victor Racine is a Mafia Boss who appeared in the episode "Den of Thieves". Racine allegedly killed Esposito's old partner Ike Thornton, but was not convicted because they found nobody. It turns out that Thornton faked his death, because one of Holliwell's informants at Internal Affairs pointed the finger at him. After further investigation, it turns out that this informant does not exist, which means that Holliwell himself worked for Racine. Esposito and Thornton break into the safe in Racine's office and take the folder itself. However, Holliwell appears and shoots Thornton, but takes a bullet from Esposito, and is then arrested by Beckett, Demming, Castle and Ryan. With the briefcase full of incriminating evidence, mafia boss Racine can finally be arrested and put away.
