  • Carl desperately tries to reason with Chas, aware that if he can’t talk her around she’ll be heading back to the army. When Carl fails, Del decides to give her cousin a few home truths and she tells Chas that what she had with Carl meant nothing and that Chas would be stupid to let him go. Over at the café, Bob’s ex-wife Barbara turns up with Josh and Carly, telling Viv and Val that she felt guilty about denying Bob time with his kids. Bob realises that he’s going to have to act like a blind man, but in order to spare him, Viv and Val decide to tell Barbara that he has been cured.
