Though often at odds with others races, they will occasionally form alliances with lawful races, such as elves and dwarves, if the need arises. The less scrupulous among them do not shrink back from hiring orcish mercenaries, however. They have no natural enemies, although the majority of men, like most inhabitants of all races, have an instinctive dislike of the undead. Men are shorter than the elves,

  • Humans are one of the races available for character generation in all eight of the original Wizardry games. They are described as excelling at nothing, but having no weaknesses either apart from a "decided lack of piety". This counts for the games of the Llylgamyn Saga (Wizardry I - V). In the description for Wizardry VI, humans are named as the one race all the others are compared to. They still have no particular strength or weaknesses, but there is no more mention of a lack of piety. This is valid for all three games of the Dark Savant Saga.

  • History of this race is unknown.
  • A race native to Alandor.
  • Humans were a species of Esria. Created in the image of the Archangels, they were one of the first races to populate the world, although they did not become a majority until much later. Humans were characterised by their relatively short lifespan, and were often wilful and capable of great deeds in short spaces of time due to their ambitions and goals. Those considered successful were ones who could achieve those goals, whereas the disillusioned minority were those who were limited by circumstance. Although not the first mortals to enter Esria, they kept good relations with the other races willing to do the same, and eventually grew to become the majority race of the world. Their majority religion, the Church of the Heavens, was far-reaching, in no small part due to the patronage of the Archangels, who sent Aden down to spread the faith. Ultimately, Humans were one of the most prolific races of Esria, and were capable of not only the greatest goods, but also of great evils.
  • Humans make up the majority of the civilized races on Tellic, creating great civilizations such as The Cradle, the Arunni Empire, or the people of The Crystal lands. From the nobles of the College of Princes to the nomads of Kalando Joonji humans differ from each other just as much as they differ from other humanoids. It is suggested that when playing in the Craedel the party be made up of a majority of humans as the majority of Craedelic principalities maintain strong pro-human policies and laws.
  • Please note that this list is currently incomplete.
  • Humans are the dominant beings of the planet we call Earth. Mostly they think they're the most intelligent, what with them inventing all the stuff they could possibly invent, and stuff. When in actuality they are the 3rd intelligent species on Earth, how could they be the third most intelligent people around? How can they be beaten by Dolphins, the 2nd most intelligent beings on Earth, and Mice? Mice?!?!?, they're the most intelligent beings on Earth? We've been experimenting on them, and we've actually touched and killed them. How can they be more intelligent then us? Well it's just a typo, cause mostly humans are the most intelligent beings on Earth. They've traveled to the moon, they've build the cities you see today, they've even invented most of the things that are available today. How can you say that they're third intelligent? We're the most intelligent beings, on Earth and beyond Earth!
  • Planet Earth AKA Planet Dirt Corparations took over the polaticians and pay for the wars that there greed brings.
  • Humans are a race of bipedal, mammalian creatures which inhabit many planets throughout the universe, especially Earth. They come in many various forms, and two genders.
  • Humans are most widespread intellectual species in Glorantha in the historical times, though Mostali, Uz, and Aldryami live in all regions of the world, known as the Elder Races for they were dominant races before the Time. Humans are certainly the most populous and the most successful of races. Some of this dominance has come in more recent centuries of history. Some of this success comes from the scores of heroes, saints and mystics that have risen from the ranks and ascended in some way to make a connection to power for those that choose to follow in their path. Or perhaps it is the adaptability of humans that allows them to connect to the sources of magic that best suit their lands and protect them from their enemies. Humans practice all of the forms of magic. They have a incredible number of cultures and these cultures might specialize in Theism, Shamanism, Mysticism or Sophism. They are also known to mix types of worship which is common in the Everything World. Physically, Humans are about what you would expect. Some cultures go to the expense of making razors or scissors from bronze in order to groom in a different fashion, and some sub-types of humans grow substantially less hair on their faces or bodies, but as a rule, men are usually bearded, women have long tresses of hair.
  • Following a prolonged period of peace between humanity and their "gods", humanity rebelled and war broke out. This was followed by a global catastrophe which saw the two species brought to the edge of extinction, wherein they were forced to work together in a much more equal manner than before. Within 100 years of the catastrophe, humanity's creators became extinct, only leaving ruins and scattered artifacts in addition to some of their genes into humanity's gene pool. Now orphans of their creators, the Homo sapiens sub-species assimilated some of the other Homo species, continued to thrive and eventually spread across the globe.
  • Of all the sentient populations inhabiting Earth, humans make up the largest populace on the planet. The vast majority of humans on Earth do not believe in the supernatural, and do not have any idea that supernatural beings like vampires, werewolves, alraune, skeletons, scyllas and others exist among them. Rather than portray humans as completely helpless against such beings, Vamp! creator Ryohgo Narita turns the typical vampire-human predator-prey relationship on its head. In the Naritaverse, humans can become stronger by consuming the blood, flesh and ashes of a vampire. The more vampires they eat (and the more powerful the vampires are) the stronger the human becomes. A human who devours a vampire becomes an Eater, and thus can act as vampirekind's predators. Some ordinary humans (non-Eaters) are incredible enough that they can hold their own against the supernatural. Human Traugott Giessendörfer was the runner-up in a fighting tournament of supernatural beings, losing to a scylla called Melina. The human Lorenz is implied to be strong in his own right, and easily counters a young teenaged dhampyr by the name of Watt Stalf (although it should be noted that most dhampyrs typically never manifest traditional vampiric abilities). Further still, there are some ordinary humans who work as vampire hunters and exterminators without ever becoming Eaters (the concept of an Eater often repulses them), such as the humans who work for Otherworld Welfare Inc. Branch 666. In the specific case of Otherworld Welfare Inc, its members prey upon the weakest of vampirekind, like those who cannot stand the sunlight and sleep in their coffins all day. There are also some vampire hunters who are loners, rogues acting on their own personal desires (such as the Hunter who attempted to murder the vampire Rude Gardastance). The supernatural world has conflicting opinions when it comes to humans. The majority of vampires in Clans look down on humans as inferior creatures, and view them as prey and slaves. Members of The Organization have a more neutral and sometimes even favorable view of humans, though of course there are many members (lke Dorothy Nifas) who do not like humans at all. The human residents of the island Growerth have had a long history of voluntary coexistence with supernatural beings. However, the island's modern youth no longer believe in creatures like vampires, and do not put much stalk in their elders' warnings.
  • Unfortunately, the name of their planet of origin (In the Star Wars franchise) has been lost to time. Though it is possible it may be Alderaan or Corellia, as Humans have been natives to those planets for as far back as records show. Humans have leading members of the Galactic scene for a long period also, perhaps simply because of numbers. Humans were among the founding species of the Republic.
  • Humans are the most common sophisticated race in the Order of the Stick world. Many figureheads are of this race.
  • Humans in the Isle are categorized into two groups, Modern humans (Survivors and Mercenaries) and the Primitives (Tribals and Cannibals). Both groups will behave differently to each other and will react to dinosaurs differently as well.
  • The most populus race in the known universe is Humanity, a race which originated from Terra or "Earth" in the Sol system. Humanity's desire for colonization and exploration have spread the species to all corners of the known universe with their will to endure. Humans are the driving force behind three of the four major factions in space: the Empire of Terra, The Confederation, and the egotistical Tariez Empire. '
  • Humans are the initial force that fought back against The Hierarchy (albeit ineffectively, losing around 95% of the world's military forces whilst inflicting minimal damage) before the Masari and Novus arrived. Only a handful of human military forces are still left and the civilian population is on the verge of extinction.
  • Humans are a relatively young race and native to the southwest around Argol and Balfian. They are relatively good at adapting to different environments, so they tend to live among other peoples as traders or workers. This article is a . You can help My English Wiki by expanding it.
  • Humans are bipedal sophonts which are native to Earth.
  • The origin of humans has never been conclusively proven in canon, but it is assumed they had something to do with Za.
  • Humans (人間, Ningen?) are the most prevalent species on the planet.
  • The common race that exists in Pental, with their power still sealed in them, they are considered as "Sealed Guardians". They do not cause much trouble, they try to unseal their lock and unleash their power and skills.
  • Humans are a race that existed on planet Earth. In most timelines, this particular species died out, either biologically evolving into other species or being replaced by technological beings. In various timelines, a great many species descended from humans in one way or another, including Eloi, Morlocks, Morloi, Watchers, Universal Constructors, and many more. Human hands in particular are considered significant, and The Time Traveler figuratively described the spread of humanity as the influence of human hands, reaching into the universe. ("The Time Ships", "Beyond the Time Machine", etc.)
  • After the creation and widespread use of the affinity gene, the Human civilization split in two separate groups: Adamists and Edenists.
  • The Human race first appeared in Chantra 1000 years after the Orcs had settled. Following the dramatic sinking of their land, key pioneers in Human society initially established a foothold in the Western part of the continent known as Chantra. History suggests they were able to do so due to their ability of handling fire. In the early stages, Humans lived in relative peace, however, they soon began to realise that Orcs had landed on the Eastern part of the continent and before long tensions were raised as the Humans became protective over their territory. Humans have a relatively short lifespan, with 80 years considered to be long. Humans also have an inferior breeding capacity when compared to Orcs, with the average number of offspring being 3.
  • Humans are the helping hand of the Aesir. Humans who fight and die valiantly for the Aesir receive a place in Valhalla. You start off with a highly trained group of human soldiers that help you along. Apsel: An idealistic rookie, unaware of the danger Humanity faces. During the battle in Helheim, while surrounded and protecting Marten's body, he is completely overwhelmed by invading forces. When the time comes for the valkyrie's descent for the First Wolf, he begs her to hurry while there is still time - all the while fending off opposing forces to buy them time. The valkyrie is torn between taking Marten - who has among the righteous dead - or taking Apsel, who is still very much alive. Much to Apsel's surprise, and horror, the Valkyrie takes him instead of Marten, judging the young wolf worthy of being among the righteous in Valhalla. Apsel's screams for the Valkyrie to let him go and take Marten instead falls on deaf ears as he is pulled through the pillar of light and taken away. Marten: A reluctant warrior who fights to end the war once and for all. He is the "Second Wolf" until the events of the ice forest, where he kills the first wolf after the first wolf shoots one of his soldiers, whom he cares deeply about. During the battle in Helheim, he falls in combat. A valkyrie comes for him, while Apsel is protecting his body to fend off the demon invasion. Due to Apsel's courage, the valkyrie takes him instead of Marten, all the while the younger wolf begging for Marten to remain dead and not become one of the violent zombies that rank among hel's armies. Bjorn: A fanatical Bear trooper who lives for combat. So adroit is his battle prowess that he fantasizes the 'monsters' tell ghost stories of him to their offspring. Nielssen: The "First Wolf" until the ice forest. A soldier caught between his conflicting responsibilities. In the ice forest he decides to implement harsh disciplne. Marten tells him that the pack will turn on him if he doesn't let up. Nielssen responds by saying he cares to much about his wolves to go soft on them, and that he accepts the fact that every pack will eventually turn on their alpha. He is later killed in a fight with Marten after shooting the youngest member of the wolf pack for not being able to keep up. Marten receives an injury in this fight. Esbern: A Bear trooper who feels he has earned the respect he receives. He later gets into a small altercation with the wolves, where he relates a fight between him and a younger soldier with an actual Bear fighting an actual Wolf. Marten steps in and, while initially agreeing with Esbern in measure of a Bear's strength, the Wolf's true power lay with the strength and cunning of the pack as a whole, which could easily overpower the bear. This response ends the arguement immediately. Siegmund: A medic who believes there is more to life than just an endless battle with their machine foes. When trying to revive one of his fallen comrades in the ice forest, a valkyrie comes down to take the soldier. Siegmund begs for more time, but the valkyrie puts a hand to his arm, sharing a soft gaze with him, allowing him to be at peace with the fact that his friend will be among the All Father in Asgard. Isborg: A soldier who is quickly killed in the first level to explain to the player the concept of dying and how death does not affect gameplay. Although you are killed off quickly without them, the human soldiers die off within a few hits and have slow firing weak weapons. They have also been seen to sometimes wield axes in close range for melee combat. As Heard(barely at end of Chapter 1-1 after opening door via The First encountered well) Marten Is NOT the First Wolf "Im not the First Wolf, Call Me Marten/Martin(how ever you spell it" when talking to the one refered to as "Pup"
  • Humans. We are-most likely-all human. The scientific name for man is "homo sapiens". unlike the aliens in star wars, we have no magic or shapeshifting abilities. but the humans in star wars, and us, have God-given talents. some men are pilot aces. Some are sharpshooting prodigies. Other than that, there's not much else to say.
  • According to the Law of One, humans have never occupied any density below third. Humans souls are born onto the third density via a matrix of love. According to Edgar Cayce, human souls are perfect fractals of the Creator. They are literally made in the image of God. Robert Monroe in his astral projections discovered that the earth is a giant loosh factory.
  • One of the four playable races in Phantasy Star Universe, Humans are the 'original' race in the Gurhal Star System and the creators of the other races - the Newmans (to make a mentally proficient super-race), Beasts (engineered for physical labour) and the Casts (made to serve Humans). These races were originally oppressed or enslaved by Humans, but now Humans co-exist as equals with the other races. Humans are known for being Jacks of all trades, but masters of none. * Home Planet: Parum * NPC Partner: Hyuga Ryght
  • "Long ago, the humans were created as the first race of Ar'krad, for the gods love to use humans in all of the universes that they create. When the humans first arrived in Ar'krad, they were split up: a tribal people. Raids and skirmishes happened, and were accepted. After a tedious time of this, a certain chieftain merged his tribe with his neighbors. Word of this spread throughout the tribes, and soon they were all making alliances. Bigger wars were fought, and more humans left dead. But eventually the Blood Orcs came to the land of the humans, known as the Western Shores in modern civilization, but known as 'The Creation' by the humans of that time. The Blood Orcs put together gigantic raids and attacks, crushing human tribes. Eventually, the tribes could no longer put up with this and decided that an alliance of all the tribes was the best course of action. The chieftain of the most powerful tribe was crowned king of the humans, and he gave them new ideas such as stone and cities. Through their alliance, the humans drove the Blood Orcs out of the Western Shores and claimed the continent for theirself. The humans left their old ways of tents and hunting, and embraced new things such as cities and blacksmithing. As a human, it is your duty to defend your homeland and to conquer all threats and evils."
  • Humans are a living creature more advanced than any other known on the mountain. They are responsible for building the Robots. They often dug for valuable materials in The Mines, and gathered crops in The Fields. After the second attack made by the robots, the humans were forced to stop mining and gathering in the Fields, and had to defend the northern half of the Sentai Mountain from the robots.
  • Humans (Homo sapiens) are the inhabitants of Earth, also known to the Nine Realms as Midgard and as Terra by those from the Nova Empire. The races of the Realms refer to Humans as Mortals, while the various alien cultures living beyond the realms use the term Terrans.
  • Humans were created jointly by Xirinet and Veros.
  • The Humans are a major species featured in Destroy All Humans! series as the antagonists to the Furons.
  • Following a prolonged period of peace between humanity and their "gods", humanity rebelled and war broke out. This was followed by a global catastrophe which saw the two species brought to the edge of extinction, where they were forced to work together in a much more equal manner than before. Within 100 years of the catastrophe, humanity's creators were dead, but the humans continued to thrive and spread across the globe.
  • Humans are a race of mortal, sentient animal species who were created in the image of God and are the dominant species of Earth.
  • Mission Record: 3-1 Level: 3
  • Humans are a race of humanoid beings who live on The Earth. They appear as tall beings, approximately three times the size of a Tamagotchi. They're handy, intelligent, and very friendly with outworlders. In the Tamagotchi universe, humans exist but are rarely seen at all. However, the Tamagotchis are aware of the presence of The Earth which is several galaxies away from Tamagotchi Planet. They've noted their planet as a friendly planetary neighbor and also noted humans are friendly as well. Generally, the Tamagotchis are highly curious of the humans, as much the humans are as well to the Tamagotchi. In the early years of the franchise, the Tamagotchis apparently live in harmony with the humans together on The Earth. Humans sometimes adopt the Tamagotchi as their pets or companions. Sometimes humans even care for the entire population of the Tamagotchi living amongst them. In modern times, the harmony between humans and Tamagotchi was discontinued. However, both humans and Tamagotchis still retain their positive relationship for one another.
  • Of all the species in the land, many have come and gone, but only humans have proven themselves true masters of perseverance. Even in the Age of Darkness, when many other races were seen in professions of all types, humans still dominated the playing field. From the Avatar to the evil Mondain himself, the most heroic deeds and the foulest atrocities alike can be attributed to those of human lineage. While the once-plentiful races of elves, bobbits, dwarves (later called mountain-folk), and fuzzies have all but disappeared from Britannia, humans remain as prevalent, and as ambitious, as ever.
  • Species Location Weapon Abilities Not to be confused with other humanoid species, humans are a race indigenous to the Jak and Daxter universe; the most common race in the game, exceeding two hundred million in overall population.

She creates a rocket, with the help of Itoh, to help Quote get to the Doctor's throne.
  • Seriously, you don't know what a human is?
  • These are the human characters in Death Note.
  • Human beings are the dominant race in the world, as they outnumber most other races, and are usually among the most technologically advanced and organized of the races. Most islands are inhabited by humans, even in the Grand Line, where most of the stronger races such as the fishmen and giants are found.
  • Humans are the dominant species on Earth. For this reason, they are watched over by the Fairies who reside above in Fairy World (which, depending on the episode, is either in the clouds or an entirely different planet/universe all together). The vast majority of humans do not know or believe in the existence of fairies, but those that do are considered crazy. The only humans that truly know about fairies are godchildren who have been given a fairy godparent because they are miserable, and this child must keep their fairies secret from everyone they know or risk losing them forever.
  • Humans are among the largest races in Mithgar, being typically taller than Elves. Their skin, eye and hair color tend to range from dark to light, and they live for several decades at most. They are normally incapable of interbreeding with Elves or Mages, due to being from different planes; it is unknown whether they can have children with other Middle-Plane species like Warrows or Dwarves. They seem to honor Adon more than other gods. Human kingdoms include Wellen, Jord, and Pellar.
  • The Humans are one of the 'Big Seven' races of the United League of Planets, the governing body of the Inner Universe. They originated from Earth, within the Sol System. After The Catyclysm, the planet Legion of the Olympus System was made the new official homeworld of Humanity.
  • The farmer is the main human. He is gormless, afraid of sharks and owns all the animals of Whaler Farm.
  • Humans are two-legged mammals who exist in large populations on the planet Earth, the original home of the dinosaurs. They are intelligent creatures, but their space technology is currently more primitive than their predecessors'. While the dinosaurs themselves have not made contact with humans, and most probably do not want to interfere with Earth's biology, Teggs, Arx, Gipsy, and Iggy saw some at the end of Earth Attack!, after foiling General Loki's plan to change Earth's history, which would wipe out humans and other Earth animals in the process. Teggs was worried that humans were not ready to meet other space-faring creatures and might attack Shuttle Alpha out of fear. They thought that humans seemed friendly but were strange-looking.
  • Humans are a race in the Seekers series. They are called flat-faces, no-claws, or sometimes smooth-pelts by bears, as well as no-swims by seals, and land-walkers by belugas and geese.
  • The Human species, known also as Terrans or Earthlings, comes from the planet Earth. As the founders of and dominant species in the Terran Empire, they're one of the most powerful species in the Galaxy. Humans have a fairly common body structure - bipedal, upright posture, two manipulating hands, a head containing the brain and sense organs, and an internal skeleton. In fact, scientists throughout the Galaxy widely use the term "humanoid" to refer to the general body shape of many species. In Galactic society, Terrans are known for blindingly rapid technological and social change and their ability to adapt to an enormous number of environments and situations. However, many aliens also regard them as capricious, power mongering, and violent. Many species hope the Terran Empire's relatively long period of dominance indicates Humans have finally "settled down" to a more stable social pattern.
  • These humans have either chosen to or forcefully been removed from civilization. As a result they tend to murder and pillage; be alert when in human inhabited areas outside of the cities.
  • Humans are a race native to Earth. The majority of which think they are the dominant species on this planet as well as possibly "alone" in the universe. A few, such as wizards and witches, have the rare ability to wield magic. Some races, such as Harpies, Dragons, and Mermaids, appear to be half-human, although if true or not is debatable. Some races, like Elves, so closely resemble humans as to be able to live and work openly among humans in the non-magical world. It is notable that many magical creatures, such as Dragons and Nix, either purposefully or as a matter of necessity developed the ability to camouflage themselves as humans. Occasionally humans and magical creatures fall in love, marry, and possibly have children; Jonathan, Susan, and Jake Long are examples of each.
  • On August 28, 2011, Jayson Thiessen was asked regarding the show "Humans? Please tell me that you will not add them at any point" and answered "heavens no!" On August 5 and October 6, 2012, comic book artist Andy Price respectively stated regarding the comic "Humans: Nope. Nothing that does a major stray from what is established in the show" and "WILL THERE BE HUMANS? No. We will not be changing the direction set by the show, nor will we introduce elements that do not fit the show."
  • -Anna. Humans (Homo sapiens sapiens in Latin) are the dominant and intelligent organisms on Earth.
  • Humans, known by some as Earthlings, are a species from the planet Earth.
  • Humans inhabit the flourishing Kingdom of Cathalon. Their capital city, named after the kingdom, lies at the heart of Cathalon. The Great War of the Gods seems to have had a decimating effect on the power of the Dwarves and Elves, since their influence is on the wane - in strong contrast to the Humans, a race which is well on the way to becoming established as the most powerful in the known world. Not that the Humans had it any easier than the others after the Great War - even after nigh-on a thousand years of comparative peace, they’re still not living in the lap of luxury... but in comparison to the greatly weakened Kingdom of the Dwarves and the lands to which the Elves and the Serpents retreated, Cathalon is a prosperous and up-and-coming Kingdom. The Great War of the Gods also affected the borders between the races’ territories. Before the carnage, humans had lived in the area around the town of Oswaroth, to the east of Cathalon, but the war razed their settlements to the ground - now what was once home to many humans is totally uninhabitable. Even today, sluggish poisonous vapors lie over the surface of the barren landscape, making approach impossible. The only creatures that seem to have developed any kind of immunity to these gases are monsters - and there are hordes of them in and around Oswaroth. The young and vibrant royal city of Cathalon is centrally located on the banks of the river Gon. A junction for trade routes and waterways, the King of Cathalon’s seat of residence is a busy and impressive town. One of the reasons for Cathalon’s recent strong emergence is its strict military organization. Individual towns in the kingdom retain their autonomy and have their own Town Guard. The taxes these towns pay to Cathalon aren’t all that high, but still enough to cause occasional protests. In emergencies, the Royal Guard protects the satellite towns. On the one hand, the Guard is seen as welcome reinforcements against enemies, but the Royal Guard and tension among the citizens seem to go hand-in-hand in the satellite town where the Guard is temporarily stationed. However, the proud and energetic citizens of Cathalon can be satisfied with the relatively rapid development of their kingdom, but there is one nameless threat in their lives… the faceless Taint, which seems to be approaching Cathalon from the east. It’s said to be omnipresent in Antaloor and getting stronger by the minute. The Taint and the increasing strength of the barbarian tribes and the Orcs make life increasingly difficult, not just for the inhabitants of Cathalon, but for humans throughout Antaloor. More and more refugees from the countryside are fleeing to the towns for protection and the trading routes are no longer safe – the only ones who aren’t complaining are the mercenaries and the bounty hunters – they have plenty of work to do. It would appear that Cathalon is about to experience one of the darkest periods of its relatively young history.
  • Humans are the most dominant race in the Lands, being the most populous sentient race, owing to their adaptability to various ecologies and climates. Because of their division into tribes with apparent differences, they havent conquered all the Lands Gladstone is ruled by Humans (including the royal line of Richard LeGrey), simple and brave folk, keeping the Dark Army at bay.
  • Humans may spawn with either the Construction Kit or the Rifle. As credits are earned, humans may sell their old upgrades and purchase new ones at an Armoury structure. Ammo may be refilled for normal weapons at Armouries, or at Reactors and Repeaters for energy weapons, all at no cost. Players may only carry one weapon at a time, excluding the Blaster. In general the humans rely on long range weapons to make up for their lack of mobility relative to the alien team.
  • Humans originally arrived on by the power of a magical portal. Their original culture and location is unknown, although it is implied to be Roman, considering that these particular humans speak Latin, and that their religion is the same. It is known, however, that the people who originally came to New World, where inhabitants of a market-based town, with cattle, dogs, and so forth. It is unexplained as to why these appear to be the only humans to have come to the planet - or the only ones to survive. Upon arriving, they where met by frightening alien animals, but forced to confront them for food. Somehow or other, their cattle lasted throughout. Almost 90 years afterwards a band of unknown travellers approached the settlement. Described as “Dwarfish” people, the humans where amazed at their understanding (even though they spoke different languages) and craftsmanship, as they were soon helped to raise a large settlement. Then the travellers left for home, and no contact was made between humans and the dwarfs for many decades afterward, but the humans remembered the Dwarves as the first souls who helped them, and centuries later, when the first human city was fully constructed, it was entitled "Dwarvenguard", in honour of the travellers. Then, the humans began to advance, and began migrating in all directions across the continent, eventually only to find a new race of frightening-looking people in the northern mountains… the Goblins. Through the influence of the current Human Emperor, Lucidus Terior, the Humans and the Goblins began a war, the Goblins being on the defensive. Eventually, casualties rose to unbearable levels, and the war subsided, but only to the point where full-fought battles were no-longer organized. From this point on, the human/goblin war could only involved the casual raid. Afterwards, the Humans then continued to migrate Northwards, through 2 more continents - through Nanacea and T'o'los - and finally, after more than a millenium, they finally came into contact with the Dwarfs again. Relationships were – surprisingly – docile, to the point where an alliance was made and the Dwarf empire agreed to allow human colonization of some of the Barag Isles.
  • Human beings, humans or man are the predominant lifeform on Earth. Humans are widespread in every continent except Antarctica, with a total population of 7 billion as of March 2012. Humans are a race that evolved on the planet Earth. Although generally considered a backward and unintelligent species, certain humans began to play a prominent role in galactic affairs.
  • Whether humans ever existed or not in the Happy Tree Friends world is debatable. Perhaps the skeleton and the other evidence was meant to portray other "anthropomorphic" primates, like Buddhist Monkey and Sensei Orangutan. It is unknown if humans will truly appear in in the show (though unlikely). If they do, it is unknown what they would look like in Happy Tree Friends style. Despite the evidence, Kenn Navarro confirmed that humans do not exist in the world of Happy Tree Friends.
  • Throughout the course of their history the humans had many wars and crusades motivated by hunger, disease and religion. Humans have been divided into many Empires and civilizations like the Hittites, Sumerians, ancient Egyptians and the Roman Empire. By the 17th Century, Humans had divided into many permanent civilizations like the modern day Nations of China, Britain (which at the time was known as the British Empire) from which occupied nations began to be granted independence like the United States, Australia, India and so on. By the early 20th Century the Human race had split into two main alliances, the Central Powers and the Triple Entente from which both powers fought for supremacy and dominance of Earth in a conflict known as World War 1 (1914–1918), which ended in the Central Powers' defeat and the disbanding of the Triple Entente, and the creation of the League of Nations. World War 2 (1939–1945) followed with the League of Nations or the United Nations fighting the Third Reich (or Nazi Germany) and the Empire of Japan, the conflict lasted for six years but eventually led to the Axis Powers surrendering and the birth of many organizations such as the UN (United Nations), the EU (European Union), and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). The Cold War (1947-1991) had started after WWII, with competition between Capitalism and Communism. Tensions between the United States (aided by NATO) and the Soviet Union (leading the Warsaw Pact) began. Although, there wasn't any direct military conflict, they fought proxy wars in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and so on. The Berlin Wall kept Germany divided. There was West Germany, which was under NATO, and East Germany, which was under the Warsaw Pact. Fears of "nuclear war" raised in both sides. The Cold War ended after the Soviet Union collapsed, creating 15 new countries, and when the Berlin Wall was taken down, with West and East Germany united again for the first time since 1945. The Human race is now a spacefaring race as Earth's resources were eventually depleted, due to a Third World War and mankind united in the form of the UCN and the ISA. The humans have had one war in the Alpha Centauri System and another which is in progress, they are currently fighting the Helghast Empire, an organization with similarities to infamous historical regimes of Earth.
• Humans are very fond of Pie, and are immune to its effects. Animals, furries, and Floogals call them "hoomans".
  • Humanity is created from the spirit of Pan Gu, honorable and moral beings with an unmatched potential for imagination and creativity. Humans that develop their skills for physical combat become well-rounded Blademasters with both strong offensive and defense powers. Humans also have the potential to become Wizards, throwing around destructive magic.
  • There are many different types of Humans that you can encounter. Not all of them are hostile. Note that eating human corpses will cause you to become insane, which gives you a variety of negative status effects for many turns. You have a chance, however, to receive a mutation that allows you to eat human flesh without penalty every time you eat a human corpse.
  • Humans (人間?, lit. "Human") is a species in the series. As the name suggests, they are simply human enemies, some of whom have the capacity to use magic.
The same racial characteristics that count for player characters are of course also valid for human NPCs and enemies.

  • Human weapons are mainly kinetic-energy-projectile based, although electrical, electromagnetic and laser weapons have or are being developed. The majority of their creations are not DNA-based, as the non-humans' are. Human space travel is still developing.
  • Humans are the most numbered humanoid species, having about 8 billion people, with Mobians, Furries, Elves, Saiyans, Ponies and Demons being slightly behind.
  • Humans are a race of beings native to Earth (Planet). Aefians are descended from humans.
  • While they may appear normal at first glance, most human characters are at least as unhinged as any member of the non-human species, if not more so.
  • Humans are slightly shorter then Elves, but still much taller than the Dwarves or Kobolds. Their skin colour is often determined by the region they live in; ranging from snow-white, to olive and tanned, to almost pitch-black. Natural hair colour can be blonde, brown, red, grey or white and even then, some Humans choose to dye it whatever colours they wish. Eye colour is also the same, coming in blues, greens, browns or even greys. Human females often weigh less and stand slightly shorter than the males. They have shorter life-spans compared to Dwarves and Elves, rarely reaching 100 years of age. In some extreme cases, Humans may exceed that age, although 120 seems to be the highest limit.
  • Humans are one of the most social living beings on Earth. We have evolved to living in groups and tribes, like our fellow primates (Chimpanzees, Gorillas, bonobo, and like our lower primates Monkeys, Lemurs..). We often rely on each other for comfort and support as we cannot easily live without each other. Even if we can physically live without the help of a other humans, we would most likely go insane without the company of other humans due to loneliness, stress, boredom, and fear of nobody protecting us. Humans need each other to survive. For example: if a bear is hungry or pissed off and it comes for you, you're obviously screwed and the bear will kill you with little force. But if that bear tried to attack many humans who are armed with spears and knives and know how to use them, the bear is screwed. This is why humans around the globe are grouped up in civilizations.
  • Humans are by far the most numerous and prosperous race in Gaia, and more specifically Shafador. Spread across both the Old Continent and the new world, the Human race has many faces and many different cultures. For the most part all Humans share the same characteristics, lacking any true supernatural abilities the true strength of Humanity lies in their cunning and ingenuity, their ability to make the best of any situation and to invent and work tools. This is not the case for all Humans of course, due to their connection to Alkavir and the interest of the Ilakavir and Delkavir Humans are capable of having their blood infused with Magic to transform into something new. Such cases as the Marrokin, or the Awakened are evidence of this. Likewise, there exist a race of Humans known as the Nephilim, Humans with Non-Human souls that are granted powerful abilities based on the souls they have inherited. The great variation in Gaia’s territories cause a numerous amount of racial ethnic groups to coexist within its lands. Generally, the majority are united by common cultural, linguistic and religious practices, although in the central territories of the Empire a great ethnic variety still exists, because during the years that followed the War of God, refugees from all the areas of the world met to found Abel. Therefore, the union of these towns is more and more frequent, making it slightly more difficult to delimitate it. Even without being completely sure of its true number, the University of Lucrecio has classified more than two hundred different ethnic groups in the Old Continent alone. Nevertheless, to make its distinction simpler, they have been broken down further into nine primary groups, within which the majority of the others are included. Naturally, they are only archetypical images of ethnic characteristics that do not necessarily represent everyone. For example, ryuan can be enormous mastodons by the same token that there are small nordics with a feeble complexion. Asher: The asher are the main ethnic group within the central areas of the Old Continent. They are physically characterized by a slender constitution, well formed features and brown or gray eyes. They can have any hair color, but darker hues, like brunette or brown, are the most common. It could possibly be argued that they are the native inhabitants of central Gaia, although they are also found scattered through other more distant lands. It is impossible to place their origins, since from the time of the Holy Kingdoms they were the most plentiful and extensive settlers. Aion: The aionenses are the second most extensive ethnic group of the central territories of Abel. They are usually slightly taller and more stylized than the asher, but they maintain a similar athletic constitution. Their features tend to be fine, they have light colored hair and eyes, and a high percentage tend to be blond and blue-eyed. The popular belief is that the aionenses are the descendants of the original settlers of the Empire of Solomon. Tayahar: The tayahar population mostly live in lands of Al Enneth, although many of them have immigrated to distant lands, like Dwänholf. Their most notable racial characteristic is the color of their skin, slightly dark and burnished like metal. Generally their hair is of a subdued color, being most commonly brown and black. Their eyes can have any color, even clear tones. It is thought that they are originally from the desert areas of Kushistan and Salazar, although is impossible to determine their exact roots. Zínner: Although people tend to think that the zínner population is made up of only The Zigeuner, this ethnic group actually encompasses many more people. Normally considered nomads, the zínner have spread themselves throughout all of the north and central regions of the Old Continent. Since they are usually in constant travel, it is difficult to place their origins, but everything seems to indicate that they must originate northeast of the Old Continent. Zinner have skintones that range from pale to a light tan and often have darker colored hair, though many of them prefer to dye their hair vibrant colors or adorn them with unusual ornaments to make them stand out more. ZInner are also known for tattooing much of their body in odd and artistic works, often changing from group to group. Ryuan: Also known as the Varja, these people settled mainly through the eastern islands, although there is a large concentration living in Phaion Eien Seimon as well. They are characterized by their almond eyes, their slightly golden skin and by their hair, always black in color. They tend to be of short stature and athletic, wiry builds. The origins of the ryuan are in the natives of Varja, who for several thousand years lived on the island with minimum interference from other populations. For that reason, it is easy to affirm that they are one of the ethnic groups that have remained more or less unchanged over the course of history. Norne: The norne are the main inhabitants of the nordic regions, characterized by their girth, their severe personalities, their untidy blond or red hair and their pale skin tones. They share the same cultural roots and there are some that call them Caste of Holst. They are the original inhabitants of the Tip of the World, from where they settled to other lands. Vildian: The vildians mainly occupy the strip between the territories of Al Enneth and the heart of the Empire. Most of them have an average complexion and while hefty, they are not too tall. Their skin is slightly dark, and the color of their hair has great variety, but it mostly falls between brown and black. Daevar: The Daevar are most unusual ethnic group of Gaia. The have dark skin and completely white hair, a characteristic that makes them stand out especially to other ethnicities. They have an athletic and stylized constitution, fine features and dark eyes. They are not very numerous, but generally the majority are found in the central area of the Old Continent, mainly in Togarini. The origin of the daevar is quite enigmatic, but it is suspected that, like the aionenses, they come from another group of settlers of the old Empire of Solomon. Kwa: More than a single ethnic group, the kwa are the tree from which are born more than a hundred minority groups. They stand out for having their skin and hair completely black, a unique characteristic in Gaia. Usually physically they are big and robust, and are without a doubt the tallest individuals in the world. Their origins lie in the southeastern area of the Old Continent, from which they have spread themselves through a multitude of countries in said territories. Celsus: An ethnic group originally of the rainy forests of Alberia they are individuals with pale skin, clear hair and eyes and a robust constitution. Theoretically they are descendents of the inhabitants of an old kingdom that was located in one of the lost continents, where they came from more than fifteen hundred years ago.
  • Humans are a minor race in the Rayman series and they are rarely seem or mentioned, they live in various kingdoms across Rayman's fantasy world/setting. The most powerful families in Seiryu are Human; indeed, the most powerful of the Ruling families is Human. Humans are Magic Users, as well as creators of Industrial Technology - they farm, enforce law, play and plot in equal measures. Humans can be found throughout Seiryu as they are an adaptable species, and enforce change when they cannot adapt

  • Humans[1], also known as "Terrans" or "Earthers" to alien cultures, are the original inhabitants of the Sol System.
  • The first species in the genus Homo evolved from the genus Australopithecus. Eventually they developed stone tools and primitive weaponry. Eventually the first humans evolved in Africa and later spread across the globe; replacing other hominid populations in areas they colonize, most notably neanderthals, which they interbred with (every human outside of Africa possess a tiny amount of the neanderthal genome). Then the Toba eruptions had reduced their population severely and thus a genetic bottleneck began, hence the small differences (genetically speaking) despite their differences. At the end of the Holocene epoch, the rising temperatures began to accumulate to denser woodland. Humans had wiped out megafaunal species prior to the rise of agriculture. Agriculture then became common and the population density across Earth began to rise rapidly. Despite this humans still evolved, examples include the reduced size of wisdom teeth, and immunity against lactose.
  • Humans (also known as: fleshlings, meatbags, insects, squishies, skin jobs, noisy creatures, "puny flesh creatures", "dumb stubbies", Terrans or Homo sapiens as they prefer) are bipedal and usually tiny organic beings found on Earth and like planets. Though quite fragile and technologically backwards, they have at times aided the Autobots and thwarted the Decepticons once the Transformers' age-old war spilled onto the humans' primitive homeworld. They are less noble and caring than the Autobots though not as violent as Decepticons. Some humans ally with the Autobots, while some humans with selfish purposes ally with the Decepticons.
  • Humans are a type of non-monster able to have lacks of powers or special abilities, and are also creatures with two arms, two hands, two legs, two feet, and able to have different skin colors from Caucasian to Hispanic to black to Indian (from India), to Native-American. They are not monsters, clearly, as they are humans, but some able to live beyond the boundary such as a superhumans. Like some might have supernatural powers, some are plain and regular, as "simple normies" so to speak. They can even fuse with some kinds or classes of monsters, such as to create dhampirs, which are combinations of humans and vampires. Humans can be very subtle creatures, yet some destructive and wanting to cause harm to monsters. Most of them have no special abilities, like monsters have.
  • Throughout the Ninja Turtles adventures the humans are in for a rude awakening when they discover that they aren't the only dominate creatures on the planet. There are also different alien life forms inhabiting the planet; the Utroms and Triceratons just to name a few. Of course there is the EPF preparing for an alien invasion; led by Agent Bishop and his ruthless army of black-ops commandos. They will exterminate any threat that poses to earth; however sometimes his methods of protection involve the harming of innocent lives. Such as in Bishop's gambit where he took the protection too far and he poses a threat to Earth itself. His army of Bishop clones pose a threat to humans as they will replace the current generation. Thankfully the turtles have destroyed Bishops lab and stopped the madness. The ironic thing is that Earth is constantly invaded by aliens yet the E.P.F that was supposed to be ready was caught off guard. That can of defeats the purpose of the organizations goal; luckily the turtles are always there to defend Earth from any sort of menace intergalactic or not.

  • The most adaptive and plentiful of the intelligent races on the earth, the humans are firmly in control of the St. Claire area. Supposedly. In truth they are pulled from all sides, by various supernatural forces most of them don't even know exist. There are a wide variety of jobs/positions open to humans on the MUSH. Any player can run a human character, if they apply, and in fact running a human 'sidelight' character is encouraged.
  • Humans are an extremely diverse race. Although they originally came from the Old Continent, men have spread all over the world and split into many different cultures and races. Although they are not imbued with magic like other creatures, humans can learn to wield it and able to learn more types than most others. They have no special abilities or aptitudes except their versatility and drive. Men are shorter than the elves, but taller still than dwarves. Their skin color can vary, from almost white to dark brown.
  • Humans are fleshy little bags of blood and guts. They are very fragile, even to the point that one fire blast or could completely destroy it. Some humans are said to wear protective materials that they refer to as "clothes", but even these do not significantly improve their power. There is nothing notable about these creatures.
  • Humans are living creatures that exist in areas of the world beyond the Smurf Village, mostly in villages of their own. They are usually within 6 feet tall, making them appear to be giants in comparison with Smurfs. Unlike Smurfs, they reproduce physically and tend to age in decades what would take Smurfs centuries to age, with an average lifespan of 70 years. There are also as many females as there are males among human communities. Like Smurfs, human male adults also grow and wear beards. It is uncertain when the Smurfs first encountered humans, though it is probably around 10 years prior to their present-day adventures that they first encountered Gargamel the evil wizard (as was revealed in "Gargamel's Time Trip"). In the "non-canonical" Smurf story "The Smurfs And The Magic Flute", their first encounter with humans was with Sir Johan and Peewit, who were searching for the magic flute that Matthew McCreep had stolen and used to commit robberies. Grandpa Smurf had also encountered various humans during his 500-year journey to find the purest sources of the four primal elements to restore the power of the Long Life Stone. In the 2011 Smurfs movie, the Smurfs came across two humans, Patrick and Grace Winslow, in modern-age New York City for help in reopening the portal in Central Park so that they could return to their own place in time. The other humans in that place in time either ignored their presence or, as in the case of the Smurfs visiting the FAO Schwarz toy store, assumed that they were animatronic toys. The Smurfs also discover that a human named Peyo (who in the real world is actually their creator) has documented their legend for future generations, likening them to leprechauns who are supposed to give whoever they visit good luck. Despite the benevolent nature of some of the humans the Smurfs have encountered, humans tend to be spoken of rather disparagingly by Papa Smurf due to the selfish and violent nature that lies deep within the hearts of humans, and he often warns his little Smurfs not to act like them. In another Peyo's creation, Benny Breakiron, the series is about adventures of a human boy with the same name. Also, most of the characters in that series are humans. In another creation, Pussycat, although the main character is a cat, its human master also appears sometimes in the comics.
  • Although short-lived by comparison, humans are the most populous of the Magickverse races. They are renowned for their diversity and ambition, and although they lack specializations like other races, they can excel in many areas. Subspecies of humans include the Planetouched Aasimars, Genasis, and Tieflings, as well as Vashar, the human equivalent of Drow.
  • Humans and digimon have a mixed track record of interactions. Some digimon have been known to attack the Humans in the real world while some digimon befriend humans and even become partners to certain humans known as DigiDestined. In many series, humans are able to assist their Partners in battle:
  • Humans are a common and adaptable species. This leaves room for all kinds of development in human societies.
  • No matter where they live, humans tend to immerse themselves in their passions and ambitions. Relatively short-lived to many other races, humans are known for being driven and surprisingly clever, resulting in their being at the forefront of many new advancements.
  • Humans (also known as: fleshlings, meatbags, insects, squishies, noisy creatures, "puny flesh creatures", "dumb stubbies", Terrans or Homo sapiens as they prefer) are bipedal and usually tiny organic beings found on Earth and like planets. Though quite fragile and technologically backwards, they have at times aided the Autobots and thwarted the Decepticons once the Transformers' age-old war spilled onto the humans' primitive homeworld.
  • Humans have a highly developed brain and are capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and problem solving. This mental capability, combined with an erect body carriage that frees the hands for manipulating objects, has allowed humans to make far greater use of tools than any other living species on Earth. Other higher-level thought processes of humans, such as self-awareness, rationality, and sapience, are considered to be defining features of what constitutes a "person". Humans were a humanoid species that originated from planet Earth, in the Solar System of the Milky Way.
  • The humans were, like the vampires and the Hylden, one of the three sapient species in Nosgoth. Despite their perceived frailty and inferiority in comparison to either of the other races, they reigned as the land's most populous and dominant creatures in the eras between Nosgoth's early history and the pre-Blood Omen era. Humans are a constant feature in the Legacy of Kain series, and have been both allies and enemies to both Raziel and Kain. They have the potential to become powerful sorcerers as well as formidable warriors, and have launched numerous crusades against the vampires, nearly bringing them to extinction at least three times.
  • The following pages contain sorted lists of individuals of Human descent, sorted by era. Humans who are definitely known to be members of Starfleet can be found in the lists of Starfleet personnel. For a complete list of all known individuals of Human descent, see .
  • Humans are the predominant species of the Inner World. The Spider Rider's are all human, and only some rare Invectids (such as Grasshop) would side with them in conflict or war. There are humans who do take the Invectid's side, such as Aqune, but their consent regarding doing so is questionable.
  • Humans are the most common race in the world of Arcanum. They make up the majority of the population in the cities. Humans are able to do well at both technology and magick, but most major human cities incline somewhat toward technology. Statistics: Humans have no statistical bonuses or penalties. They start with 8 points in all statistics (except Strength and Constitution for females).
  • Historically, there were three species of people - the humans, the Icarians and the Spirits. It can be assumed that the original "humans" developed into the many humanoid species found in the present day Grandia world. It is not known where the other sentient species, such as the Mogay, originated from.
  • Humans are one of the many civilised races of the Warhammer World. They predominantly inhabit the Old World where they are the most numerous cognisant race.
