| HistoryText | - Lawless is a strip in the Judge Dredd Megazine about Colonial Marshal Metta Lawson. She is apparently a Marshal from Mega-City One sent to bring law and order to the town of Badrock on the colony world of 43 Rega. Flippant, undisciplined and fond of a drink, Lawson was sent to Badrock to replace Colonial Marshal Hetch, a former Psi-Judge who unfortunately went insane three months after arriving there. She seems to take her job seriously despite her attitude but Hetch, whom she visited in prison shortly after her arrival, detected with his mind powers that she was not precisely who or what she said she was.
Nonetheless, Lawson has begun cleaning up Badrock with the help of her clerk, Nerys Pettifer.
