  • * The title "Baby Not On Board" is a take on "baby on board" signs hung in car windows. * Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore' pottery wheel scene from Ghost is notable for being the first time characters are depicted with realistic eyes instead of the round eyes typical in Family Guy. * The song the Griffins' sing in the car is "The Rose" by Bette Midler. * Brian's ongoing saga of the novel is once again brought up. Like in "Movin' Out (Brian's Song)", it has something to do with the movie Iron Eagle. Stewie said he would replace all the words "and" with "fart". * Brian notes now he can't manage a Stewie impression, the irony being that Seth MacFarlane voices both characters and that Brian is delivered mostly in his natural voice. * When Peter and Brian discuss 9/11, when Peter generalizes the group Brian is talking about, he is using George W. Bush's logic. This is the 3rd time that 9/11 is mentioned in the show. Seth MacFarlane was originally supposed to get on Flight 11, but missed the flight. * This is one of the few episodes in which Stewie refers to Lois and Peter as "Mommy" and "Daddy", normally choosing to call them "Lois" and either " Fat Man" or "Peter". * Two and a Half Men, The Office and Desperate Housewives appear as the guide shows in the DirecTV video that Cleveland and Quagmire are forced to watch. * The instrumentals that cued at the Griffins' arrival home was the instrumentals from the family return scene from Home Alone. * Peter refers to Cleveland and Quagmire's ability to look after children to that of Patch Adams, a doctor who used humor to aid in his healing. The cutaway scene shows a desperate Patch Adams trying to entertain dying, in pain, children and ignoring their request to be left alone. * When Cleveland and Quagmire enter the Griffin house to look for Stewie he quickly knocks them out with gas and identifies them as Cleveland and 'Bob Hope'. This is a comment on the likeness of Quagmire's nose shape to Bob's. * Quagmire does not get a boner from people using the word 'rubbish' instead of 'garbage'. * A cutaway gag shows Fozzie Bear trying to tell an Arab joke to a group of Arabs. * A Fat Albert parody called Morbidly Obese Albert is shown in a cutaway gag, in which Albert is very obese and has diabetes that cost him his foot. The gang is standing around, and offers Albert chocolates. Albert doesn't take one at first, but after, he does. * A cutaway scene showing how "useless" Aquaman is is shown in a cutaway gag, showing Aquaman unable to help a woman being raped on the beach, as he needs to stay in the water. * When Stewie sees that the family is nowhere to be seen, he says, "This place is more deserted than James Gandolfini's workout room." The scene then cuts to James Gandolfini walking by his workout room, and eating a piece of chocolate cake. He looks in, and there is spider webs on the weights and equipment and the lights are off. * When Lois, Brian, Chris, and Meg are about to go off the cliff, they all have the same exact facial expression. * In the scene in the Griffin's car Peter says, "No way! Those guys have a TV in their car!", but in "Road to Rupert", he was able to watch SpongeBob SquarePants on a flip down screen in the Griffin's car. * In the broadcast version, Cleveland says to Quagmire: "Did I tell you I was getting a spin-off?", foreshadowing his own upcoming show. * Operation Dumbo Sex is retitled Operation Dumbo Screw in the uncensored versions.
