| abstract | - Narviat (full name: Devoras Narviat) was a Romulan admiral and later served as Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire from 2344 to 2374. He was most famous for devising a plan to infiltrate Starfleet with clones of their officers. Shinzon is the most famous of these clones, made from Jean-Luc Picard genetic material. (Star Trek Nemesis) However, the plan was later abandoned by the Romulan Senate, believing it would be too provocative if it was discovered. Donald Varley and Walker Keel also were cloned for these purposes, although Annika Hansen has also been cloned later by the Tal Shiar for this purpose, albeit with no temporal RNA sequencing.
