  • Norman "Hurricane" Smith (February 22, 1923 – March 3, 2008) was a record producer and engineer who work as an engineer on the Beatles albums starting with Please Please Me (album) and ending with Rubber Soul. He would later work with many other artists in the 1960s including Pink Floyd and produced The Pretty Things concept album, S.F. Sorrow. He was also a musician and a singer and in 1971, he had a hit with "Don't Let It Die", the following year, he scored his biggest hit, "Oh Babe, What Would You Say".
