The park includes former battlefields, gun emplacements, trenches, caves, and historic structures. Nations involved in the War in the Pacific include the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and the Soviet Union. The Park will also be featured on the Washington Quarter in 2019, as a part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Series.
