  • Animal is an ability that debuted in Kirby: Squeak Squad, and has only appeared in that game to date. It is very powerful but it comes at a loss of speed and feels somewhat awkward to control. Its main feature is its ability to dig through dirt, some snow, or clouds, unique to the Animal ability itself and Triple Star, an ability which is only obtainable at the end of the game. Many of its moves revolve around this gimmick, and focus being able to dig while still simultaneously taking out foes at the same time. Its attacks are based on primal and animalistic characteristics, such as mauling foes with his sharp, broad claws. The power is scarcely found without dirt around, but by the same token there is hardly any dirt without a Gaw Gaw around. This power does not work underwater.

  • One of the 15 Hermetic Arts, Animal is the form that concerns animals of all kinds, from the fish of the sea to the birds of the air. Animal spells cannot affect people, and Hermetic theorists still debate the reason for this. Some believe it is because people have souls and animals do not, but there are Bjornaer magi who might disagree with that.

Thereafter, people (elephants, gorillas and humans) kept them in rounded metallic spheres and summoned them forth to use special powers in order to battle with each other. When they wanted the animals to come out of their spheres, they would say "[Aadvark, Llama, etc], I choose you!" and throw the sphere to the ground. Eventually, after fighting a lot these animals would evolve, which became the basis for Darwin's theory of evolution that all Animals are a type of pipe bomb.

  • This page is intended to define the INTERSLAVIC word form for the ENGLISH word at the top of the column to the right. If the INTERSLAVC box is "blank", then a word form has not yet been selected. Immediately below the INTERSLAVIC box is a link entitled "discussion about this word" - which will link you to a "Discussion" page specifically for the WORD at point. Below the Discussion Page link, under "PRIRODNE JEZYKI" ("Natural Languages") are listed the various modern Slavic natural languages - in their respective native language forms (NOTE: some natural language may be missing) Finally, below the Natural Languages section, is the "Constructed Languages" section - "Postavjene Jezyki" - which includes "Slovio" "Novosloviensky" (NeoSlavonic) and "Slovianski". The "Slovio" project is no longer active. "Novosloviensky" and "Slovianski", on the other hand, have joined together as "INTERSLAVIC" or "MEDŽUSLOVJANSKI" - each offering a slightly different grammatical format. Here you may access and edit this information.
  • Animals are classified by scientists as anything that you can skin and wear. According to ancient legend, most animals came from space and are Atheists (they believe He is existent). Animals may also be used for eating.

  • Animals are data beings advanced in physical design but lack the same intelligence as people have. There are several animals in Cyber Space. However, not many are kept as pets. Frisket is a feral dog that lives in Mainframe. His owner is Enzo Matrix. Frisket is red and yellow in color and wears a light blue collar. His icon hangs on his collar like a tag. Frisket is incredibly strong, able to lift a whole ABC with his teeth alone. Scuzzy is a small cat like animal. He lives with Hexadecimal in Lost Angles. Scuzzy is not exactly a pet, as he seems to come and go as he pleases. Scuzzy serves as a spy extraordinaire, no security system has ever been able to keep him out. He's never been caught or detected even once. Scuzzy is far more inteligent than any standard animal, capable of comprehending others and comminicating with them. He is also quite devious, and can take great pleasure in the fear of others. Web Creatures are large animals from the Web. They are black or gray in color, and belong to no one. Extremely dangerous to those living in the Net, Web Creatures move in herds through the vast and uncharted Web. However degraded-sprites who become Web Riders are able to use them as beasts of burden for their own purposes. While not exactly keeping them as pets, they most certainly resent anyone attacking them. Nulls are sometimes considered animals as they are mindless worm creatures. They all used to be people but were turned into Nulls by either lost Game Cubes or massive explosions. Nibbles is the only Null known to be kept as a pet, all others simply roam free throughout cities, majority acting as pests so most people don't generally like them. Their energy-draining nature also makes them dangerous for most to touch. Hexadecimal has a great deal of control over nulls, sometimes using mass hordes of them to attack her enemies.

  • The following list shows monsters that belong to the Animal Type.
  • Animal is the wild drummer on The Muppet Show, performing with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Animal is a crazed percussionist with three styles of music -- loud, louder, and deafening. He speaks in a guttural shout, often repeating a few simple phrases, such as "BEAT DRUMS! BEAT DRUMS!" or "WO-MAN!" In relatively calmer moods, he is capable of more coherent conversation, but these instances are infrequent. Animal first appeared in the 1975 pilot, The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence, chained up in a basement cell when he wasn't onstage performing with the Electric Mayhem. He later became a main character on The Muppet Show, and his unrestrained style has made him popular with young people for decades. Frank Oz says that he had his character down to five words: Sex, sleep, food, drums and pain. Occasionally, two of those essentials, food, and drums, are interchangeable. In The Muppet Movie, Dr. Teeth had to remind Animal to beat, and not eat, his drums. In The Muppet Show episode 110, when asked by Kermit if he preferred drumming to food, Animal replied that drums are food. Animal's wild attitude can be compared to Cookie Monster. In A Muppet Family Christmas, after observing Cookie Monster eating all of Janice's cookies in his signature manner, Animal comments, "That my kind of fella!" Animal's family life is generally non-existent, and outside of the band, the Muppet Show troupe, and women in general, he has no other relationships. A significant exception is depicted in the book The Case of the Missing Mother, which reveals the existence of Animal's mother, LaVerne. LaVerne is also a drummer, and it's implied that percussion skills are a family trait. It is a popular legend that Animal was inspired by Keith Moon, the wild drummer of the Who. Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac is also sometimes cited as the inspiration for Animal. However, there is no evidence in the original sketches for the character that suggest that he was based on anybody in particular. Three of the other members of the Electric Mayhem were created by Muppet designer Michael K. Frith, and the sketches reproduced in the 1981 book Of Muppets and Men show that they were based on famous musicians. Dr. Teeth is a cross between Dr. John and Elton John; Sgt. Floyd Pepper is based on the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper album, and the original concept for Janice was a skinny, long-haired male character based on Mick Jagger. Animal, on the other hand, was designed by Jim Henson, and the rough sketch (also seen in Of Muppets and Men) doesn't appear to be related to any real musician. However, it's not surprising that Animal is often compared with famous drummers -- as Buddy Rich said in his Muppet Show episode, "All drummers are animals." Animal himself considers Rich one of his musical influences, along with Gene Krupa, Keith Moon of The Who, and Ginger Baker of Cream and Blind Faith. The actual drumming for Animal was performed by Ronnie Verrell, a veteran drummer and member of Jack Parnell's house band for The Muppet Show.
  • Animals are multicellular organisms that live within the ecosystems. Humans have used other animals for food, trading, etc. Dr. Eric Chanikov combined various animals with the newly developed Sigma Technology.

  • An animal is a living, nonhuman creature, usually a vertebrate with no magical abilities and no innate capacity for language or culture.

  • He appears as a flying cat-like animal. For most of the episode George and Angela argue over how to get rid of him. In the end of the episode he just flies out the window.
  • They can be found in all lands and usually serve as food for the creature as well as the villagers (livestock).
  • An animal is a living, nonhuman creature, usually a vertebrate with no magical abilities and no innate capacity for language or culture. These creatures generally operate on instinct, driven by simple needs such as food and reproduction. Most animals, even predators, do not attack humanoids unless they or their young are threatened or they are suffering from starvation. Animals are not capable of detailed reasoning, although if someone has the skill to handle animals, they can tame an animal and teach it to perform certain tricks. Some herbivorous animals do not normally use their natural weapons (claws, teeth) for attack. Animals are always neutral. Animals are not governed by a human sense of morality. Beasts and critters are animals.
  • Animals are LEGO pieces and figures which are designed to represent and resemble animals. Just as regular minifigures portray humans, there are also specific figures and parts which depict animals in the LEGO Universe, which are usually made up of specific or custom LEGO elements instead of being composed of standard pieces. Animal figures may consist of just one single element or piece, or can consist of a whole complement of special parts. Not all LEGO animals were made up of special pieces or even one single dedicated element. There were also some animals that were built of universally usable pieces. But those creatures would usually appear in only one set while the other animals could be reused more often due to their more simple and standardized design.
  • A number of animals have appeared in the Carnivores series: Carnivores features 10, Carnivores 2 features 15, Carnivores Ice Age features 12, Carnivores Cityscape features 11, Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter features 25, and Carnivores: Ice Age features 17. In addition, Primal Prey features 11 animals.
  • Animal is a category of furniture.

  • Animal is the man Pauline and George Mole hire to build two houses on the foundations of two pigsties. He never talks and is portrayed as a person with very limited intellect. Pauline and Animal become sexually involved, and George is in a wheelchair, but he seems happy enough with this ménage a trois.

These are generally multicellular, capable of locomotion and responding to their environment, and feed by consuming other organisms. Their body plan becomes fixed as they develop, usually early on in their development as embryos, unless they undergo a process of metamorphosis. Humans are animals, though colloquially the term is often taken to exclude them. The word comes from the Latin word animalis (plural animalia) and ultimately from anima, meaning vital breath, soul. With a few exceptions, most notably the sponges, animals have differentiated tissues, including a nervous system and muscles, and an internal digestive chamber. Groups with this organization may be called metazoan, though that word is also used for the animals in general. Until the discovery of protoplasm, and the series of investigations by which it was established that the cell was a fundamental structure essentially alike in both animals and plants (see cytology), there was a vague belief that plants, if they could really be regarded as animated creatures, exhibited at the most a lower grade of life. We know now that in so far as life and living matter can be investigated by science, animals and plants cannot be described as being alive in different degrees. Animals and plants are extremely closely related organisms, alike in their fundamental characters, and each grading into organisms which possess some of the characters of both classes or kingdoms (see protista). The actual boundaries between animals and plants are artificial; they are rather due to the ingenious analysis of the systematist than actually resident in objective nature. The most obvious distinction is that the animal cell-wall is either absent or composed of a nitrogenous material, whereas the plant cell-wall is composed of a carbohydrate material—cellulose. The animal and the plant alike require food to repair waste, to build up new tissue and to provide material which, by chemical change, may liberate the energy which appears in the processes of life. The food is alike in both cases; it consists of water, certain inorganic salts, carbohydrate material and proteid material. Both animals and plants take their water and inorganic salts directly as such. The animal cell can absorb its carbohydrate and proteid food only in the form of carbohydrate and proteid; it is dependent, in fact, on the pre-existence of these organic substances, themselves the products of living matter, and in this respect the animal is essentially a parasite on existing animal and plant life. The plant, on the other hand, if it be a green plant, containing chlorophyll, is capable, in the presence of light, of building up both carbohydrate material and proteid material from inorganic salts; if it be a fungus, devoid of chlorophyll, whilst it is dependent on pre-existing carbohydrate material and is capable of absorbing, like an animal, proteid material as such, it is able to build up its proteid food from material chemically simpler than proteid. On these basal differences are founded most of the characters which make the higher forms of animal and plant life so different. The animal body, if it be composed of many cells, follows a different architectural plan; the compact nature of its food, and the yielding nature of its cell-walls, result in a form of structure consisting essentially of tubular or spherical masses of cells arranged concentrically round the food-cavity. The relatively rigid nature of the plant cell-wall, and the attenuated inorganic food-supply of plants, make possible and necessary a form of growth in which the greatest surface is exposed to the exterior, and thus the plant body is composed of flattened laminae and elongated branching growths. The distinctions between animals and plants are in fact obviously secondary and adaptive, and point clearly towards the conception of a common origin for the two forms of life, a conception which is made still more probable by the existence of many low forms in which the primary differences between animals and plants fade out. An animal may be defined as a living organism, the protoplasm of which does not secrete a cellulose cell-wall, and which requires for its existence proteid material obtained from the living or dead bodies of existing plants or animals. The common use of the word animal as the equivalent of mammal, as opposed to bird or reptile or fish, is erroneous. The classification of the animal kingdom is dealt with in the article zoology.

  • Animals are found throughout the game and can be used to change your chao's stats, behavior, and appearence.

  • Animals are computer controlled creatures that roam some islands on the oceans. They are unable to enter buildings on their home islands, but are otherwise free to roam the island at will. Animals are sociable creatures, and will often "attach" themselves to a pirate arriving at the dock arrow. They will follow this pirate around until they leave the outdoors scene, at which point the animals will await the arrival of a new pirate at the docks to follow. Animals can be made to join chat circles, and may on occasion talk (sheep say "Bah" and pigs say "Oink"), but their preferred position is slightly to the side and behind the pirate they are following. Historically animals were purchased from Nemo by island governors, however, with the release of pets, animals are now purchased from the palace shoppe and placed on islands by governors. Despite this, they still behave in much the same fashion, and remain particularly fond of buttocks.

  • Animal is the drummer on The Muppet Show, performing with Dr. Frank Oz says that he had his character down to 5 words: Sex, sleep, food, drums and pain. Occasionally, two of those essentials, food and drums, are interchangeable. In The Muppet Movie, Dr. Teeth had to remind Animal to beat, and not eat, his drums. In The Muppet Show episode 110, when asked by Kermit if he preferred drumming to food, Animal replied that drums are food. Animal's wild attitude can even be compared to Cookie Monster. In A Muppet Family Christmas, after observing Cookie Monster eating all of Janice's cookies in his signature manner, Animal comments, "That my kinda fella!" Animal's family life is generally non-existent, and outside of the band, the Muppet Show troupe, and women in general, he has no other relationships. However, it's not surprising that Animal is often compared with famous drummers -- as Buddy Rich said in his Muppet Show episode, "All drummers are animals."

  • Animals are a major group of organisms, classified as the kingdom Animalia or Metazoa. In general they are multicellular, capable of locomotion at some stage in their life cycle, responsive to their environment, and feed by consuming other organisms or parts of them. Their body plan becomes fixed as they develop, usually early on in their development as embryos, although some undergo a process of metamorphosis later on. The word "animal" comes from the Latin word animal, of which animalia is the plural, and is derived from anima, meaning vital breath or soul. In everyday colloquial usage, the word usually refers to non-human animals. The biological definition of the word refers all members of the Kingdom Animalia. Therefore, when the word "animal" is used in a biological context, humans are included.

Animals belong to a diverse mixture of semi-intelligent monsters — which usually can be affected by mindcraft (with the exception of a few animals such as rabid dogs), but can't use equipment and tend not speak in a comprehensible language. The monster class consists of several monsters including felines ('f'), rodents ('r'), dogs ('d'), bats ('B'), natural beasts such as bears ('N'), spiders ('S'), snakes ('s'), lizards ('l'), worms ('w'), insects, and aquatic monsters ('A'). Almost all fantastic beasts ('F') — excepting giant boars and giant slugs — are different from their mundane counterparts. Their nature is typically more magical and they share neither vulnerabilities against Beastfighters, nor can be tamed (see below).

  • This section provides statistics and basic information for many common kinds of mundane animals. These creatures generally operate on instinct, driven by simple needs such as food and reproduction. Most animals, even predators, do not attack unless they or their young are threatened. Animals are not capable of detailed reasoning, although with the Handle Animal skill it is possible to tame an animal and teach it to perform certain tricks. Some herbivorous animals do not normally use their natural weapons to attack. As such, their natural weapons are treated as secondary attacks. The animal’s attack and damage entries note this fact, with an explanatory footnote.
