Not the best of places at the time of TLJ, both customers and staff are a bit run-down. Located just beyond the bridges of Venice when coming from the Border House, the Fringe Cafe features largely in the early chapters of TLJ. It is run by Stanley and staffed by April, Charlie and Sandra. Emma, Marcus and Isabel are regular customers, and Cortez may be an occasional visitor as well. It is host to a breach in the Divide on Friday, 28th of July, when a Banda appears dancing and playing a pipe in front of the patrons. It holds an "Annual Summer Blowout" which, in 2209 is on Friday the 4th of August at 8pm. Acts playing that night include Royn Dale, Harlequin Masquerade and The Gogetters. Someone stuck a flyer for it on the Border House common room noticeboard. The ambient music heard in the Cafe is done by Tor Linløkken, and consists of five tracks: Dragon, Dolphin, Eagle, Shark and Winterland. April can switch between them on the jukebox.
