- Misty is een van de hoofdfiguren in de animatieserie Pokémon. Ze is de eerste metgezel van de hoofdrolspeler Ash Ketchum. Samen met hem en Brock reist ze in de serie rond. Haar karakter wordt gekenmerkt door koppigheid en opvliegendheid. Tijdens deze reis vangt ze verschillende Pokémon. De eerste Pokémon die ze vangt, heet Horsea. Later vangt ze ook nog een Psyduck die een belangrijke rol in de serie speelt. Misty heeft nog 3 zussen, Daisy, Lily en Violet. Misty is van beroep gymleider van Cerulean City. Er wordt vaak gespeculeerd en gedacht dat Misty verliefd zou zijn op Ash. Zeker nadat het liedje 'Misty's song' verscheen op de cd van de pokemon televisieserie (2B a Master).
- Misty is a character whose first appearance was in the very first episode of the anime series, Pokémon - I Choose You!. In the episode, she first meets Ash after fishing him out of the water when he was trying to get away from a flock of Spearow. Ash then takes Misty's bike from her in order to escape the Spearow, which is then wrecked by Pikachu's Thunder Shock. Misty then tracks down Ash and follows him around on his adventures until he can pay her back, although she eventually forgets about the bike and becomes one of Ash's closest friends in the process. However, at the end of their journey through the Johto Region, Misty's bike has been fully repaired, and she departs to return home to Cerulean City.

Descripción | - En el episodio Ash, Misty y Brock tuvieron que alquilar uno a Hagatha para que con su ataque profecía pudiera eliminar las ilusiones creadas por los fantasmas que habitaban el bosque que atravesaba. A la salida del bosque se lo devolvieron a Nagatha, la hermana de Hagatha.
- Este Cleffa aparece en el episodio , cuando Misty, acompañando a Ash y sus amigos en su camino hacía Ciudad Celeste. Se vuelve muy amigo de Pikachu y de Azurill. Conoce: metrónomo.
- Lo ha tenido desde su primera aparición. Es el Pokémon que más tiempo lleva con ella. Lo utiliza a menudo para atravesar el agua. Es uno de los más usados y además, es bastante fuerte.
- Se captura a sí mismo al abrir la Poké Ball de Misty. A pesar de ser un Pokémon de agua no sabe nadar. Si es golpeado varias veces en la cabeza, es común que tenga jaqueca y utilice fuertes ataques de confusión. Siempre se sale de su Poké Ball, aunque Misty no lo desee. Venció al Kingler de Ash en la Copa Remolino, y le permitió a Misty quedar entre los 8 mejores. Por alguna razón, Misty no lo ha sacado de su equipo ni lo ha intercambiado, a pesar de que se lo han ofrecido.
- Creía que era su Psyduck evolucionado en el episodio y lo usa en una batalla, pero después aparece Psyduck de su Poké Ball diciendo que tomó una siesta. Después Golduck ve a un grupo de mujeres bonitas y trata de llamarles la atención. Conoce: golpes furia, Pistola agua • , Psiquico • , confusión • , anulación • , surf • , e hiperrayo • .
- Capturó a Poliwag mientras Ash y Tracey caen enfermos en el Archipiélago Naranja. Luego evoluciona a Poliwhirl al pelear contra Ash por un Totodile. Finalmente evoluciona a Politoed al ponerse en la cabeza la roca del rey que Ash ganó en una competencia de sumo. Es uno de los Pokémon más fuertes de su equipo y uno de los más usados en combates.
- Toma al Squirtle de Ash para utilizarlo en un concurso de belleza en la playa, en el episodio Vacaciones en Acapulco .
- Toma al Pikachu de Ash para utilizarlo en sus combates en el Festival de la Princesa. En el episodio .
- Seaking, Shellder, y los Goldeen son de sus hermanas, Misty les da comida y juega con ellos en el Gimnasio de Ciudad Celeste.
- Nace de un huevo que encontró Ash pero se quedó con Misty debido a que al nacer empujó a Ash y Brock para ver el nacimiento del huevo. Fue a causa de esto que Misty fuera lo primero que Togepi vio, pensando que ella era su madre. Luego evolucionaría a Togetic en un ritual comandado por el coronel Hansen que quería apoderarse de él, tras ello se va al Reino Espejismo para cuidar de los Togepi.
- Porygon es un Pokémon que el profesor Akihabara le presta a Ash Brock y Misty para pelear contra el Team/Equipo Rocket en el EP038 .
- Hace su aparición cuando Misty va a Hoenn para un festival de Togepi. Ash y Brock quedaron sorprendidos de que ella aprendiera a entrenar a un Gyarados. Era un Magikarp del Gimnasio Celeste, al evolucionar tuvo un arranque de furia. Eventualmente Misty logra controlarlo y crea un vínculo con él, desde entonces es parte de su equipo.
- Fue capturado en las Islas Remolino y usado en La Copa Remolino, pero perdió ante Trinity. Lo capturó con la Cebo Ball. Es casi tan fuerte como Politoed, además es uno de los Pokémon que más usa en la quinta temporada.
- Tracey le presta a Misty su Marill y su Scyther para que les ayude a apagar el fuego de un edificio que se estaba quemando en el episodio

Luego se queda en el gimnasio porque necesitaba nadar libremente.

- Fue un Luvdisc que trajo su hermana Daisy al gimnasio junto con otro Luvdisc llamado Luverin. Luverin es de Daisy y Caserin es de Misty. Caserin está enamorado de Luverin pero Luverin no le presta atención, hasta que Caserin la salva.
- Ha estado en el Gimnasio Celeste. Es de ella y de sus hermanas mayores. Participa en algunos espectáculos con las cuatro. Luego evolucionaría a Dewgong en una batalla contra el Team/Equipo Rocket. Él mismo le entregó la segunda medalla de Ash.

Info | - Ash, Brock and Misty borrowed Hoothoot from Hagatha in order to navigate the haunted forest. It attacked Ash and got affectionate with Misty since it only got along well with pretty girls. It was returned to her sister, Nagatha after they were able to get to the exit.

- Misty's Psyduck's first appearance was in Hypno's Naptime and was caught at HopHopHop Town, where Psyduck freely went into Misty's Poké Ball. The two seem to have a rough relationship.
- Misty caught Seaking during a Seaking Catching Contest, and then released soon afterwards because of contest rules.
- Ash found it as an egg and soon it hatched into a Togepi. Ash wanted it, but Togepi liked Misty, so it chose Misty. When Misty visited Ash on his Hoenn journey, Team Rocket invaded and Togepi evolved into Togetic. Misty left it to protect the Mirage Kingdom in the episode A Togepi Mirage!.
- Misty befriended commanded a wild Golduck, when she believed her Psyduck evolved. However, she soon discovered that Golduck wasn't hers and it was just a wild Pokémon that like to show off for girls. Misty even described it as a Pokémon version of Brock.
